People want everyone to be equal.Never gonna happen but thats how it is.And they want equal in the sense everything gets included.everyone gets all the same things and such.At least thats what im assuming for now.Whailor wrote...
Just because you want Tali doesn't mean that Tali wants you. I don't get it why suddenly every random person wants to have same gender relations all over. Sheesh. I don't oppose "gays" as such, their business what they do but come on, why on Earth suddenly everyone everywhere should be interested or want such relations anyway? Heck it's called "minority" for a reason, that is, most people don't feel attracted to it, so it shouldn't be pressed everywhere either.

If you would have paid more attention you will realize that the Ardat-Yakshi thing CAN ONLY happen when 2 asari makes a baby. Not with 1 asari x 1 random alienLlandaryn wrote...
Samara's angle is that she's forsworn love and sex and all but a couple of guns to be a Justicar. And she's been doing it for at least 400 years. Somehow, I doubt she's going to give it up for a human who's going to be dead in less than a hundred years -- if not sooner.

Indeed. Some people are straight in the game( oh the horror!) deal with it. A bi Tali would break her character completelyWhailor wrote...

Maybe, but you can never be sure unless you try. I think we should try.
Also, if you play maleShep this whole thing wouldn't make anything difference for your gaming experience at all... so why care?
Every [New Game] creates a new Mass Effect universe and if you pick maleShep in the beginning, Tali is straight, if you pick femShep, she loves the captain. She does anyway (there are 4/5 very emotional hints to that), there's no way around that. Its just that the conversation is suddenly cut off...

Because thankfully, Shepard doesn't have a terminal case of the gay.ninjakittie wrote...
Playing a female Shepard is terrible in ME2, the love interest choice are terrible. Jacob is boring and too nice, Garrus has a half blown up face and too much of a friend, and Thane is awesome and cool but I'll pass on mating with a half fish, half lizard. Looks like hell raiser. Why couldnt I get Jack, Miranda, or Tali. I really wanted Tali. Come on Bioware seriously, with what you made possible in Dragon Age you are going to run away and be forced to be traditional and boring. For shame.

I can't love my best friend who is guy unless I am gay?
I may be being facetious, but that is what you are basically saying. You can show great platonic love for someone of your gender. That does not automatically imply romance unless you wanted more than friendship to begin with.

Females got the same amount of LI's as guys did, I really don't see a problem here. You may also say that males got screwed up because there is no m/m option. BW really made improvement in female LI departement IMO.

Well said.
I pity people who believe otherwise because they have this gaping hollow pit inside them that they'll never be able to fill. Something they won't realize or appreciate until it's too late.
You'd be surprised just how many regrets suddenly spring to mind when you hit a near death experience and your life flashes before your eyes.

Really? I thought it was rather ambiguous. Samara says "It can only happen to purebloods, like me". She didn't specify what the other mate has to be. But the, I've only just finished her Loyalty mission... maybe she'll go into it more later.

Just out of curiosity, would some of you who want f/f and m/m with specific characters be satisfied with a "testing the waters" dialog option? Example: dudeshep comes on to Garrus and surprised Garrus brushes him off. Or Tali declines femshep come on.
Yes. I wanted Jack, but can live without getting her. She's the only character that tells you she's not interested, even though so obviously swings both ways. That's just me.
That said, I don't feel cheated. I wanted to romance Garrus in the first game. That said.....
None of them are Kaidan!

I sympathize , considering I didn't really like the male options that much. Biker chick, Cold Blooded but Shy girl, or tech gybsy.
Can't imagine how I would feel if my options were dull Marine guy, Reptile dude, Reptile Dude number 2 with kid....and dying.
I guess you could always say well Miranda and Jacob have great bodies...well there is that....and Jack has a cute face, but her personality ....well I guess if you like people who curse all the time and talk about their conquests (in a negative or positive light: negative in her case).

Assuming you liked NO ONE in ME 2, then you either romanced Kaiden or Liara. It is clear that Liara is going to play a significant role in the last game, and if you are her love interest then that will probably have a large amount to do with how she turns out. Kaiden I am not so sure of, but in general ME 1 characters will probably be revisited in a larger way in ME 3. So if you remained loyal, you may yet find your reward...in patience...
