Uh...I don't think that word means what you think it means. Also, implying that Garrus isn't the best female LI, what is this i don't even

Oh, it does.

Hey, you're free to do what you like.  I'm just giving my input.

...You know you can't even make out with him, right?  He has no lips.  It is physically impossible.  To me that is a non-starter; a fail before even getting out of the starting gate.  Hell, in real life I'll cross people off as prospects if their lips are too thin or relatively non-existant.  It's just not fun.  So yeah, turians have zero sexual appeal to me.  Still look badass though.

So you're shallow. That's your problem. I've never based my attraction to people on how easy they look to make out with. Kissing's...slimy. I'm fine without it.

And Garrus is a sentient being capable of higher thought, so that is kind of the opposite of the definition of bestiality.

Bestiality is sex with animals. Not people who have animal-like traits/features. Otherwise I'm sure Wolverine wouldn't be a vastly popular character with the ladies.

Just as a side point, ColeMR said it was too -close- to bestiality. Not that it actually was.

If they would have made the Kelly romance a with extensive dialogue and not just a easter egg escapade i would have been satisfied with Femshep options.

Still wish Tali would ignore gender and be attracted to Female Shepard.  I would so dig that.  Not just cuz I am a man and virtually ever man likes that kinda thing, but because...well, why not?

Mere semantics. The term "bestiality" has no place in this thread because none of the love-interests are animals.

Except that one varren on Tuchanka, but following the whole scale-itch incident, we don't talk about that anymore.

Garrus: ...what the hell? ****'s just ****ed up now. He's a bug/bird alien! An awesome one as a character, but it's still too close to bestiality for any amount of comfort for me.

I would Virmire you so hard.

So any single character or combination of crew member can die, but you cant choose freely your LI?.....whats up with that?

As Tali wasn't available form my fem shepard, I just ignored the LI subplots and just played the game, hated to watch Liara on Shepard's desk, inside her cabin, but the options weren't good.

Oh? Not an animal?

I wonder if you could fetch up the definition of what an animal is, and then say that,.

Lot of hypocrisy and double standards in this old thread

Give me M/M romances before we get MOAR F/F romances. How about that for fairness. Can tell which posters are male and just wishing for HOT F/F action. Give me a break.

This quote is truth.

Personally, I'd probably never exploit a male/male romance but why is there a demand for more lesbian romances when there's already one and a half (Kelly sort of counts)? Sure, lesbians don't get as many options as heterosexual players of either gender, but they get a hell of a lot more than gay men do.

Let's make every female love interest bisexual to please the male neanderthals drooling over lesbians, right. No.

Anyway, as others have said, there is more need for M/M romances.

How bout this? We all stop complaining about what Bioware should/should have/shouldn't do/shouldn't have done, we wait until there's a DLC that changes the romance aspect of the game, and then sit down and have an intelligent,well-thought discussion on the pros and cons of said DLC. Or if they don't we drop the subject FOREVER.

Without posts on the forum how should Bioware know that such a DLC is wanted by their fans? Not to mention that after the release of the DLC there is little point talking about it, Bioware would already have done the work and we would not be able to give any input.

I for one am not in favor of DLC that changes the orientations of the romances, much less for the knuckle dragging gorillas who just want lesbian action.

My 2 cents are plainly that in comparison I find the personalities of Tali, Miranda or Jack far more varied and interesting than that of the guys. They all somehow fall into the same category: upstanding, just, nice, understanding, reserved, safe.

What makes them boring is that they do not actually behave in a unique way. The closest being Garrus who has history with you. Compare that too a psychotic Jack, extremely controllfreaky Miranda and a fun Tali. Mordin had a distinct personality, something like that.

Imo the more important thing would be if Bioware would make actually a more varied kind of male characters.

I think Miri and female Shepard would be intresting, not because of the sex scene, but the dialog.

I know I rember the discussions we had, some time back in another thread.
and for "the knuckle dragging gorillas" i have no problem that they get f/f (aslong as it is done good enough) if that way I get what what I want.

Despite his "apparently" wrong appearance, Thane easily makes the best possible romance option for a female Shepard in both ME1 and ME2.
