I have noticed threads from hundreds if not thousands of people who have had their sound cut out during this cut scene. I replayed the mission 5 times over now and always has the same result regardless of which disc I have in, or which buttons i push. I figured it was a bad copy, so I took my discs back to the store to have swapped out and the new ones do the same thing!!! Does anyone know if their will be a patch to resolve this issue? This is really the only complaint I have about the whole game, but it is an annoying issue.
Patch for sound cutting out during Samara Loyalty mission cut scene.

yeah, i agree it is really annoying. I haven't figured out a way to fix it either. do you have a collector's edition or regular btw? and do you have a newer or older model of 360? don't know if that has anything to do with it but I was wondering.

hmm, does anyone have this problem with a regular edition? Where were you in the main plot when you did this mission btw?

okay, from scanning over the forum, it seems to me this is a 360 only glitch. but why does it only happen sometimes or to some users?

Just found a sort of fix for the samara audio glitch. If you go into the sound menu and turn sound effects to 0% the dialogue/music won't cut out. this is still really annoying though, because not everyone has this glitch and they certainly aren't playing with sound effects off.

I originally had the collector's edition, then had the discs swapped out because I thought they were faulty. They gave me brand new discs from the standard edition and it produced the same results. I have a newer 360, so I don't believe this is hardware related at all.

Yeah.. I had this problem to..I completely installed the game.. was wondering if people who didn't install the game still have the sound go out.
I also had the sound cut out during the scene during Grunts trial.. That giant thing dropped from the sky and everything went quiet. I played for about three minutes thinking that my character was supposed to have gone deaf from the sound the thing dropping made..
re-loaded that one and the sound didn't go out after the re-load..
On the Samara one though I think I re-loaded about 4 times... It never comes on.. Had to turn on the subtitles so I knew what was going on.

Turn on subtitles that will fix the problem. You can turn them off after the mission ends.
