How the hell do I keep him alive?  I disable the communications, destroy the satellite uplink, destroy the geth flyers fuel depot, and cut the alarms.  How else am I supposed to help out the assault teams?  Is there something that I am missing here?

Did he die? I think those are all the steps.

Yeah. I did all those things, then after I planted the bomb Kaiden said that Kirrahe was dead. Now I am reloading my save and going through the battle again.

Nevermind, I missed ONE STUPID FLYER and Kirrahe still died. Now I made sure that I got all of them.

I cleared out everything on the way there. Took out the communication relay, the flyers, tne krogan on the other side, and all that. Inside, there are a couple Salarian's that ask out of their cages. Did you let the crazy one out? Even your crew you take with you says something may be wrong with him.



I've never let him out myself. I like seeing him splat into the wall. XD

I never got him to stay alive after doing all the steps ...Sad panda I was!

You gotta shoot off the satellites. A lot of people miss it.

After the Virmire mission did you check the hanger bay on the Normandy?

I go through everything...Shoot the satelites...destroy the flyers...and some others..even had my squad handle the baddies after getting to the security terminal.

If you chose to go back to the bomb different soldiers in the salarian army survive than if you just keep going to the pickup point?

I always go back to protect the bomb...I might do it differently as soon as my 360 gets fixed...It RROD on me for the 2nd time while playing ME. ...Was trying to do my verison of a lvl 60 save..Renegade but kept the Rachn alivei,Wrex alive,give Tali the geth data, gather everything collect everything and keep ashley alive w/no love intrest and killed the council with Anderson leading it.

As a side note: the bomb site encounter is more difficult, it has a Geth Prime, while the AA tower has only destroyers. At higher difficulties the difference is significant.



As to Kirrahe survival, listen to the comm chatter, he'll give hints on the things he wants destroyed.

Didn't even know he could die, I didn't read the whole thread but what do you do with the security alarms? I noticed you can disarm them or activate them other towards Kirrahe, I assume the latter might kill him.

Yes, if you activate the alarm, you encounter fewer enemies (since they go to Kirrahe), but he will get killed.
