I shall start out on nightmare difficulty.  I will promise myself a few things- I will drink no health potions throughout my entire playthroughs, I absolutely won't make any of my mages a healer even in the slightest, and I will never pause the game to rethink my strategies.

People call me the "Father of Rpg gamers."  This is a prestigious title I was born with.  I will not have a tank in my party.  I absolutely do not use shields.  I will go in and pull a few groups of enemies and kill them with a 2 hand sword.  Life is too short to play cautious and fight with a 1h weapon & shield.


I shall create "challenges" on this board and distinguish the professionals from the clowns.  One man party challenges and no choosing talents' challenges are where its at.  I do not want people complaining about the difficulty of dragon age origions while playing on normal, because i will be owning on nightmare.  Dragon age origions will be the best rpg ever.  Let the games begin.

You can't beat my mage Jeremiah (pictured in my avatar). He may look like he's frightened out of his wits but it's just his nature to be afraid and it's only natural - he's seen the sacred ashes video and knows theres a meeting with a dragon in his future....

dont get me wrong, i know nightmare mode will be tough and it will take time to not be a noob on it, but once again, I am the father of modern rpg gaming. I shall succeed and romance the other 3 female characters in my party (no noobelfs or dwarves). I will kill stuff with a 2h sword while they stay in the back and watch me defend them.

What I don't get is the deal with using the two handed weapon. I mean, sorry but has anyone else noticed how shield bash seems to be laying out enemies in the videos just as effectively as any two hander would?

Shield Bash does 1-2 damage from what I've seen, but knocks them down.  Pretty sure two-handers get a stun too.  Pommel Strike.

Crap either this guy needs some of my crazy pills or he already figured out his cheat codes either way if his grey matter were proportionally equal to his ego he might actually get some where. but I think the glazed over eyes tell the whole story.

Um, you may want to reconsider romancing the Mabari War Dog…I've heard she likes to bite.

Pfft only works if one of your rules is permadeath whenever your main player dies you re-roll.



Now THAT is the hardest difficulty.
