it is apparent dragon age will make you look awful and reveal how bad you are at rpgs if you can't beat normal. Beating nightmare will make you a god in the rpg gaming world. I wonder if borderlands is this hard.

I promise to be the worst dragon age player ever..I will play on easy peasy mode. I will drink all my healing potions just because I'm thirsty.. I will die a million times in one battle. I'll choose all the wrong skills and only use dialogue options that take my character the wrong way from what I want to actually do. My only sustenance will be styrofoam peanuts filled with cornmeal. I will never successfully finish the game and go to bed every night weeping into my pillow. I'll become a raging alcoholic in my later years and tell stories around the bar of my complete failings. But as long as I'm the worst.. I will surely know.. that I'm the best at being the worst. And baby jesus will smile down upon me and call me Ishmael and give me presents of cheese and processed meat byproducts. Father of RPG gaming???? Have you even heard of Islands of Kesmai (the fiirst multiplayer RPG on CompuServe which predated the Internet)? Or Tunnels of Doom (an RPG for the TI-99)? If you're the father of RPG gaming, you're my great great grandson, lol. I've played D&D from the time of the small pamphlet set authored by Gary Gygax. Sheesh, I wish I still had those books, probably be worth a hundred bucks at least, but they were so used they fell apart. Anyway, I am making no claims for myself, I just enjoy playing games at a level that challenges but doesn't crush, and I couldn't care less about touting my achievements to others, which I consider to be in the category of "my father can beat up your father". Anyway, if that's what spins your gyros, be happy. Just don't expect anyone to respect you for it.

I will play this game on easy. I will use cheats. I will stack my characters with the best weapons from the get go (using the toolset). I will get the most preorder items to stack my characters. Hell I am even going to level my characters to 20 before starting the game. I will be quaffing potions of healing every 10 seconds. I will be dual wielding shields for extra defense (who needs offense anyway).

Such exploits are nothing, when you consider the many ways to cheat. If you allow yourself a two-handed sword, you would of course easily be able to accomplish just about anything, considering how easy it would be to add a simple chest containing a super-2h-sword of instadeath right at the start of the game with the mod tools.



Do it with your character barehanded, naked, on an unmodded xbox 360, with reliable witnesses, taped and uploaded onto youtube - then you'll get all the respect you deserve for accomplishing an unlikely combination of events in a video game.

I'm a bit offended by the how easy this "challenge" is. Beating it on Nightmare? No healing? No tanks? Child's Play. I am going to beat this game by teaching my dog how to play, and then only allowing him to use dog. While this is going on, I'll probably be eating some sort of meat product and watching cartoons.
