Protheans didn't make the reapers, the Protheans were the last organic race harvested by the reapers but there had been hundreds if not thousands harvested before them. The reapers made all the technology that the protheans used, Citadel, FTL, all that stuff. So...that proves you wrong right there.

I would REALLY like to know what a terminator Human-Reaper would look like flying through space.

And how would it fire it's weapons?  The mouth thing is kinda cool, but I'd like to see it fire lasers out it's eyes or fingers.  Or my favorite... the almighty ass-laser!

You know Bioware sat around some meeting table discussing this very early on in development. Must have been one VERY late night or early morning, they were running outta coffee and the Canadian's were calling for 10 meters of snow to move in. They said "You know we cant just simply make him look like Terminator..." Another guy pipes up "Ok, so we give him 3 eyes instead of 2. And they shine yellow not red!" They called up the copywriter, waking him up from his slumber, and he said "Yeah thats ok, they cant really sue us over that..." Then they all went home.



But really, the other Reapers were huge starships shaped like giant squid. This "baby" human Reaper wouldve grown up to look like something outta Spaceballs. Maybe with the vacum cleaner to boot!

I didn't say I liked it, I'm just predicting it's going to happen. The Reapers were created by someone. You don't get random evolution from a pile of iron. 

If it is going to be based on the ME2 reveal, I suspect that Reapers were created to extend the lifespan of their creator race and were not a subservient AI revolt.

I actually thought it was a pretty cool plot point. Humans managed to kill a Reaper, so Reapers see them as worthy and create a new Reaper from them before they wipe out everything else. Explains where Reapers come from quite nicely too.

Your mind simply cannot comprehend their existance.  As Sovereign said, they have no beginning or end.  If you think about it, in our world it makes no sense how anything got started.

I think the Reapers are also full of themselves. They see themselves as Gods, obviously they're going to belittle the races they harvest. But what they say and what they do undermine their beliefs, not to mention they can be killed as evidenced by the attack on Citadel Station and the Reaper 'corpse' in orbit over that planet that begins with M.

So, they clearly have some end.

Reapers were organic once.....Protheans were NEVER able to successfully create a Prothean reaper, they find that humans could have the genetics to pull it off. Reapers are built to look like their donor race, so what we see as ships were once organic sentients who looked like squids. 

Though I do understand it did look a little silly, I found myself thinking: "You've GOT to be kidding me.." when I saw it.

Another thing, why are the Reapers formed to look like thier donor race? Why not have them look like a baseball? Would tie in with the Death-Star! Or a huge log of poop! They would still have the donor race genetic material in 'em.
