Like you get a new Geth but he's all unemotional and stuff, but then at the end he patches himself with Shepard's armour (or something more original).
Not really like WALL-E but WALL-E deserves mentioning.

The best thing would be every companion from both games at the end killing the reapers then, when everything is over it turns out legions SR also works as a guitar and everyone parties.

Legion is also one of the only characters they could bring back in ME3 regardless of whether he died or not, just add an extra line of dialogue to him if he died in the suicide mission, and have his chest hole repaired (even if he survived since that means less modeling).
When you ask him how he's alive, he just says
"This platform was restored from backup servers."
Or maybe
"We were repaired."
Actually I don't think that's accurate. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the reason Geth are "immortal" is becuase there is a backup of each Geth in the archives of their main hubs. Whenever a Geth is connected to their network, they are constantly sending data back to the main hubs, updating their archive. But Legion is not connected to the Geth network right now. So it isn't able to send back any data, meaning that the archives of all the Geth that form Legion are not being updated. So while the Geth that form Legion techniaclly still exist, they wouldn't have any of the memories they gathered during their travels with Shepard. The Legion we know would be dead.
Or maybe I'm wrong. Geth technology is somewhat confusing.

I think the archives are only to stop hacking attempts, memories might not be included in the archives, only the data needed for the Geth to work.Internet Kraken wrote...

I do love Legion. He's one of the most interesting characters to talk to in ME2--though sometimes it's hard to understand him without the subtitles. Durp. And every time he talks I say, quietly, to myself, "Total global saturation," but that's neither here nor there.
I'm really glad that Bioware didn't write the entire geth race off as just a bunch of Evil Robots . A lot of video games do that when they aren't creative enough to think of good villains, or they want to have cool combat but avoid an M-rating (*coughTooHumancough*). The Reapers don't count--as of ME2, we've established that they're not wholly mechanical, and you only ever really fight one face-to-face. Besides, they're an interesting race of Evil Robots .
Exploring the culture (or lack thereof) of the true geth through Legion is a treat. Whether or not Legion is aware, its experiences as a mobile platform have given it something like individuality. Being composed of many different programs isn't so different from our state of mind. At any given time, we're subject to a thousands different whims or desires, and sometimes sides of our personalities show that make us feel or behave like entirely different people.
Maybe Shep'll have some kind of talk of that nature with Legion.
I especially liked, during its loyalty mission, when it turned to Shepard and asked, very simply, what it had done wrong to cause the advanced conflict with the heretics. Legion needed a hug right then, and it needed it bad. :[
