can anyone confirm this? If so it would be a great help. Using an imported character from ME1 with full paragon, Long service bonus and shock trooper spec. Currently at the Horizon colony part and about halfway to the top

The longer you wait to do both Jack and Miranda's missions the harder it will be to stop the fight.

Not sure about this. I imported my paragon shepard from ME1 and waited the Jacks loyalty mission on last possible moment, what was just before IFF mission. Had done all other loyalty missions allready. Also my Shepard is Agent. I solved Miranda and Jack fight .My paragon bar was allmost 100% at the time, but I don't think it's required.

My point is that I don't think  it really matters so much when you do it, but how much paragon you have collected before doing it. Like amount of paragon could be relative to how far you are in game. Earlye could require less than later, but later you also have more paragon. Could also be related when as situation or how much dialogs done with characters and so on..

I do't know enough to give more information. More like how I feel about it as opinion.

I was thinking maybe it's more related the main proffession power selections last option, where is this 70% vs 100% paragon/renegade thing. Maybe it requires to select the 100% one?

Is it true that, the earlier you do their loyalty missions, the easier it is to stop the fight? Last playthrough I had nearly full paragon and shock trooper, and still couldn't settle it. I'd love some clarification on this.

For the people who want to save their entire team, follow this:

All loyal team members, it's ok if Jack or Miranda are not loyal. ONE person can be disloyal.

When selecting the jobs, do this: Legion or Tali in the pipe.

Garrus leads team 1.

Send Mordin back with the crew.

Garrus leads team 2.

Samara is the lead biotic for the swarm shield.

At the end of the mission, take Jack and Tali with you on the final fight. The people holding the defensive line get a defense boost based on the collective defense of the people present. With the weakest members completely absent (Mordin, Jack and Tali), you have a significantly tough team, EVERYONE will survive.

I did this, and it worked perfectly provided everyone (except Miranda in my case) is loyal.

The biggest error that can be made in the suicide mission is assigning a task to a non-loyal person, or someone who is not the most ideal for that job. That will result in a death somewhere.

I wrote a post specifically about this, actually.
