It's getting there! Mannn I have to plan like woah each chapter now, it's redonkulous. I used to write it all on the fly, but now I can't. Stupid climatic plot arch and their stupid mess >:|

Oh I love Alistair too.  I just have yet to forgive him for the PUBLIC BREAKUP.  Plus, naked landsmeet?  I can't quit you.

Definitely!

I even wrote in one of my stories about it.  Oghren thinking something like, "Even *I* know not to do that and I'm no good with women."

Public breakups.  Lose/lose.  :?

Remember that review I mentioned yesterday? The one that said

Grrrr! Post moar naruto/hp fics. They're sooooooooooooooooo good and I don't even play dragon age.

Well guess what? I got the exact same review from the exact same anonymous person for the exact same chapter of the exact same story today. What is wrong with people? It's been less than twenty-four hours and I was at a game so I didn't even post anything since the last review!

Perhaps you should put a disclaimer at the top of your fics that as well as writing in your spare time, you do have a RL away from the keyboard and your imagination. Some people never get the 'I have other things to do'...

You know we're just supposed to sit around and scribble, Mirelia.

Look, they're not paying you the big bux to go and have a life outside of providing fic, ok?

I just wish they'd stop review-spamming me. I get all excited to see a new review and then... 'you're in the wrong fandom, write more just for me.' It's not like they've ever reviewed one of my many Naruto/HP stories anyway so I'm even less inclined to care what they think. Posted Image

Sometimes reviewers make me facepalm. I already have had a ton of people reviewing me saying 'I don't get this' or 'this is unrealistic' and then a few chapters later realize 'oh, you know how you had this labelled under humor/parody? I just now realized it and now I think the exact same thing I didn't like is hilarious!' My question: If they think it's funny, shouldn't they realize it's supposed to be? And why don't people look at what kind of story it is before reading? Or even the summary?

Kind of a weird question but...what would the DA equivalent of hell be? I keep catching myself typing 'what the hell' or 'the hell you will' but it would be out of place in Thedas no matter if you're a dwarf or anyone else.

I don't know what the actual "term" for Hell is...or if there is one. I tend to relate The Deep Roads to being equivalent to Hell. Don't know if that helps though :)

I've used "what in the black city" but it just feels so unwieldy. And I don't think it would work for dwarves.

SOIGNEE'S GUIDE TO SWEARING AND CURSING LIKE A DWARF and other assorted funs:

"Bronto sh*t."
"by the Stone!"
"Stone dammit."
"Soddin' sod."
"Nug bollocks."
"Ancestor's ******, what's going on here?"
"I'll buck that bronto..."
"She was as vicious as felcat fighting for scraps, let me tell you"
"Well I'll be a slippery nug..."

(Missa oddly is more gutteral and uses "f*ck" and awful lot. She's a classy girl.)

ooh, actually... I think "hell" is "the Beyond," or perhaps that's some kind of purgatory. Maybe. I went to Catholic school so I tend to see everything through that filter.

Chant of light verses

Though all before me is shadow,

Yet shall the Maker be my guide.

I shall not be left to wander the drifting roads of the Beyond.

For there is no darkness in the Maker's Light

And nothing that He has wrought shall be lost.

I have been using 'what in the world' as that would still fit but 'what the hell' is just so much more succinct...why must I care that no one would know what hell is?!?!

Well...except maybe my Dalish. She's a basketcase anyway.

Weird, the Beyond is the elven name for the Fade.  Where were those verses from? :P  The Dissonant verses?

Today was kind of weird. I have a story that is set post-Origins, so I'm putting it out through the BSN blogs so I can share it without spoiling anyone who doesn't want to be spoiled who is reading my playthrough fic.

Someone managed to randomly find it and has become a huge fan. >.> It's very flattering, just kind of...surreal. They think I should be writing professionally! I heartily disagree, but I am definitely flattered!

This makes me incredibly happy to hear! Your weird little experiment in making something innately creepy not creepy is apparently successful!

It seems so!  And since Ron is your character, and you practically wrote his lines with all my interrogating, it's your success too!

I think this is a sign that you should quit the smartypants wormporn and I should quit the chronic underachieving and we could collaborate on a whole series of stories! I could inspire creepy concepts that you make awesome, and you could throw out neat concepts that I make awkward.
