There's a definite time-limit on my stay-at-homeness - so maybe that makes it easier :). Oh, and I've ALWAYS got an excuse to let the housework slide...

"I was writing a new chapter darling!" *batters eyelids*.

You sly little minx!

I just have to say that being at home creates more work to do at home. LOL.

Here's what happens to me:
Spouse: What are all these boxes doing out?
Self:  Oh...It's okay a hurricane hit the house... oh wait that was me when I was looking for that short story I wrote way back when. Don't worry love I'll clean it up someday. Now where did I put that world map I drew for that story?

They have an August, too?

I'm guessing it came from the name of one of the Divine. Justinia = Justinian (month), Augustine = August.

There's no reference to a Divine by that name, but there was a Sister Augustine in the game, so one might have existed. :)

I suppose that's reasonable. It still feels a little immersion-breaking to me, though.

Welcome to the FF sucks thread DreGregoire! We support each other here. *hands out one pair of angsty pants (one size fits all), and the dance steps for the bi-polar posting shimmy (not to be confused with Anders' spicy shimmy*

Gil don't forget about the chart for the Templar Shuffle, and the metal boots those are the most important part.

It was in the RPG player's book. (OR the DM manual, can't recall). I admit, I added it to the wiki. Got sick of having to dig through PDFs whenever I needed the info. I freaking swear by that wiki, I don't think I can go a single chapter without looking something up.
No idea where the high month names came from, though. Maria?

I'm taking a guess here but perhaps Chantry/Trevinter Empire?  The low names often seem to refer to seasonal characteristics the high to personages....

On the names of the months... I have the Prima Dragon Age Guide, the special edition and each month has two names a "high" name which I think is Chantry/Trevinter and a "low" name which I imagine is used by the common folk. I think the Wiki has mixed them both up...

Thanks for the calendar!

I can now say that Alistair left in Guardian and Moira found him late Bloomingtide, early Justinian. They will reach Denerim in Kingsway or Harvestmere, depending on whether they get a ship soon.

I've not mentioned the months or festivals. I've done a vague name-day reference (dwarves have one, apparently.) Perhaps I should start? Hrrm.

According to the toolset if you are a CE that accepted Vaughan's bribe and talk to, I think, Shianni then Alistair jokingly asks what you did to make someone hate you, forget someone's name-day so I think it's a Thedas thing in general.

I'll get it done..eventually :P  I think the problem is that it is yet another transitional chapter.

Is this the Nate fic? If so, throw in another bath scene and it'll be right :whistle:. *thinks she might be obsessed with a wet Nate*...

Yep, it is the Nate fic....  And nothing wrong with being obsessed about a water-slicked Nate.  There is a reason I put it in the story after all

I too Tas am having fits with 89 on "Soulmates" for the same reason. Transitional chapters are a pain. I have a cunning plan...thank you "Black Adder". But I have one element that I haven't figured out yet. *sigh* such a pain. And I feel horribly guilty, like I am letting people down. *pulls up angsty pants*

So, is anyone else experiencing nothing but heartache at the hands of ff.net today? My stats are being goofy, I'm missing at least one review that I know of and I've had variable success even accessing my most recent update, from a direct link and the story listing. It's making me feel very grrrrr.

I downloaded a chapter earlier and then it like... disappeared for a while.  Very weird. Very Bermuda triangle.

Eek. Kind of scared to look at ff.net now....

Tasmen - chapter gremlins are eating my brain as well. I've swapped to paper and pen for a bit. Slower, but it seems to be working.

I've been those having problems since Friday. Or rather, the DA section of the site seems to think it's still the 15th and so getting things posted since then to show up is a pain.

What Sarah said.  I've noticed the problems since the stats went down last week.   Annoying stuff, really.
