Okay I wanted to post it here, because it is a squee moment for me. Fanart inspired by "Soulmates".
Done by Bingham Vance: From the Shadows
Is it bad of me to be absolutely thrilled? Like soignee said, it is like getting peeled grapes...
DreGregoire is unable to voice an opinion after seeing the smexy fanart.

Sure send me what you need and I can give it a go.

Whee! The ones I'm afraid to guesstimate are:
The Wilds (Flemeth's hut) to Lothering
Haven to Redcliffe
Orzammar to Redcliffe
The rest are to the Brecilian forest, and that's a big place so I think have room to futz around with the timing a bit. So if you can help with those three, I'd really appreciate it!

I need one actual one to start the math with.
edit: I also need it on a map.
So a map with the line showing a distance between point a and point b.
With that I can computate your needs.

I usually use the distances we compiled here at We
And let's use this map - this one's from the books and has at least one major difference from the game - the position of Redcliffe. It got changed in the game for asthetic purposes.

along roads by any chance.
I may need to print this since I can do it by hand but I lack the skill on a PC.

I would think maybe Highever to Ostagar is as straight as possible - Duncan is in a hurry, Cousland is running from Howe's men, they want to get to Ostagar as fast as possible.
Flemeth to Lothering is probably as the crow flies as well, since Morrigan is leading the way.
Orzammar to Redcliffe would be by road, especially since you have to get through Gehrling Pass or whatever it's called.

Aaarrgh. The toddler has stopped me from writing for two days solid. I've finally put her at the kitchen sink with a heap of cups and a running tap in the vain hope that I'll be able to start a chapter. Floods in the kitchen be damned.

Does that toddler ever nap? LOL oh right... that's probably when you catch up on everything else.

Nap? There are toddlers who NAP? This must be some sort of new model I haven't heard about before.. can I trade mine in?
Seriously, she used to, but she doesn't sleep at night if we let her during the day now, so NO NAPS. Means I've been playing my dwarf commoner for a month now and have only just finished Kocari Wilds

Unrelated, but... Without spoiling, I'm very torn now. Do I let my characters have one day where nothing horrid happens, or throw some darkspawn/angry templars/werewolves/flying zombie andraste etc at them? I kind of want to give them one happy day, but part of me is evil and says "no joy for you! monsters attack!"
(I'm suddenly really digging the idea of flying zombie andraste)

And yet Redcliffe to Denerim can be done in just two days. Never could figure that one out. The map is wildly out of scale, it seems.

I don't think they made it to Denerim from Redcliffe in two days. According to the map it takes about two weeks. Rather they needed to get to Denerim in two days to beat the Blight, but it seems pretty clear from the game that the Blight beat them there and Denerim was in shambles. My take, anyways.
And sometimes, a peaceful day is nice! I have a really cute one planned for Kara and Alistair. Eventually.

Given that Duncan gives a message from Arl Eamon (your uncle he actually says) to Cailan that he went to Redcliff at some point in time. So I always assume that in the human noble origin they go by way of redcliff to Ostagar, but I would imagine for any of the origins he may have either already been to Redcliff or had seen Eamon in Denerim or some such.
