I've spent most of the time I've been playing games being monogamous - EQ, WoW and others. I went from one to the other but I didn't usually play a few at once.



And DAO is the only thing I've written fanfic for. I've tried to explain it to close friends but you do get a bit of the 'uh huh...' thing while they look at you like they're appeasing the mad woman.



And big congrats Shadow! The picture Aimo did was great (as it usually is)

FF.net, silly, silly, silly! not surprised. Got my 13k+ hits for the month, which I was hoping to hit, so I can't complain too much. Unless it messes with August's stats....then *stabbity stabbity, kill, kill.

I just don't tell people I write fanfiction. Although I'm lending a friend of mine my 360 copy of dragon age (since I've become a PC devotee) and I might tell him once he's played since I think he'll understand. (and he admits to writing KOTOR fic back in the day).



My hits for the month are about average. Well, unique visitors are average. Hits are bizarrely off the charts thanks to what appears to be a few hundred people rereading my last chapter's smut-fest repeatedly. (I'm totally doing a Montgomery Burns fingertip tap here while muttering 'excellent.")



I wish there was a way to find out where visitors were coming from. I've had a few days where my unique visitors were off the charts for no apparent reason and it makes me think I got linked somewhere, but can never figure out where or how. And I shouldn't care, but I'm always insanely curious.

OK another stupid question, once you've began posting on FF net is it possible to insert an introduction or prologue at the beginning of what you've already posted? If so, how?

I think you'd have to go through and reassign every file to a higher chapter number, since if you do a prologue/intro ff.net considers it "chapter 1" on their system.
