Why are you biased, and how are you biased? You, yours is long enough and I don't feel you'd be offended if I gave you critique. It's weird that several people were recommended to me or asked me to read theirs. Is my input so valuable? Hah!

So over the past several months I've gotten story hits that fall between a specified range (I would share what this is but I have a lot more stories than most people and for bigger fandoms) on ff.net but for some reason, ever since August hit it's been way low and I don't really understand. Is something wrong with the hit counters again? Have people just not been reading since August started? It's very disconcerting.

I am biased in the way that I absoluately LOVE it when I get reviews (I have 21 in total so far, half of which are from Sarah1281)

Sarah actually magnanimously reviewed every SINGLE chapter, even though the first three were published at the same time since I had to wait until my account allowed me to upload documents. And she actually picks up on the more subtle details that will ultimately prove quite important.

For instance, she said she wanted to know the story behind Cailan chasing Trian through the Shaperate, even though everyone else probably dismissed it as a minor mention. I tell you, that thing will actually make Trian cry later.

Yes, major spoiler, but I am just that impressed by how she spotted the subtle yet major plot relevance of that small hint I put in.

My story IS Supense after all. And what Trian meant when he said "I should've just..." in Chapter 3 will actually be revealed much later, even though everyone probably forgot about it already. And that's actually a good thing.

In other news, Sarah1281, I FINALLY added your story to my favorties list. I seem to have a way of forgetting to do that for some reason.

Not really I am old...  I'd just completed my second stint at uni then...  I thought the first ff was star trek or was that the first slash?

@Sarah, don't despair, love. At least I tell myself not to when I look at my stats. I think it is summer vacation, the kids are still out of school. People are spending time outdoors, or going places before the kiddos go back.

Well, I enjoy reviewing and reading fanfiction! So I'm having fun. I was studying for something but I've essentially given up on that and I'm spending my last time living at home reading and writing. BAD INFLUENCE, SELF. But it's taking a lot of stress off, so I'm happier.

I was wondering the same thing.  I'm at about 40% of what I would normally be getting.  I was wondering if it was me/my last chapters were disliked/Dragon Age was dying in popularity/etc, but now that you say it I wonder if it is the hit counter.

Yeah, if it were just my DA stories then I could think people weren't just reading but...my HP and Naruto ones, too? Those were finished months ago and they still have more people reading than what story hits are telling me.

My hit counters are down too. Normally this ONE fic I wrote gets an incredible amount of hits thanks to the 65 chapters it has, but even that's down. Hm.
