Thank you, modern society.
And I hadn't even thought of that. Ugh. Can I make it my head cannon that female grey wardens are subject to very, very, very irregular and infrequent periods? Since really, aren't their lives bad enough?

Mine did, too. Hadn't even noticed until you said something.Shadow of Light Dragon wrote...
On another note Sarah and I both noticed that our respective fanfics just went down in 'star' points on the same day. Anyone else experience something similar? Do we have a troll who gets kicks from killing stars? XD

I already did that (the making it my head canon that female grey wardens are irregular). It was the first thing I thought of when Alistair admitted that wardens have trouble conceiving. There has to be an upside to all that business.

Then there is Avernus, who lived waaaaayyyy past his time for the Calling. He was waaaay older than most humans manage too.

What's with the stars any way? I don't get how they work. Mine has only ever had four.
People can rate threads by hitting a corresponding star. I imagine most people who do so have done so on accident.

I saw somone use "Andraste's bloodied rags" as an oath. It has become my favorite fantasy oath EVAR.

Ahh I finished the first draft of my first fanfic. Need to correct some spelling, proof-read, make sure it flows right, and think up a title. Seven and a half pages of text to cover the City Elf origin. Too much?

Speaking of- two current stories about the same character, in two different points of their timeline. Bad idea?

As long as you can keep them straight, I don't think it would be a problem.LupusYondergirl wrote...

And the undying beast that is my current story is finally starting so slowly shuffle towards the end, so I'm kind of trying to give myself something to do between updates of that so I can put it off.

As for two stories at the same time with the same characters - when I was writing Beginnings and the other spin offs (non-Anders ones) I was writing all of them at once pretty much. I don't think it hurt them, except that the ones that came out later were more polished because I had more time to go over them. Re-read Beginnings the other day as I was posting it to DevArt and had to reformat it (blergh) and I'm a bit embarrassed at how sloppy some of the writing was.
Still, that's why I'm doing this. For practice! It's good to know it's actually working a bit though!

Well, for me that could mean another two dozen chapters. I suffer from "why use one word when you can use twenty!" syndrome. It's spanned almost four years at this point, though, and I really don't want to go all the way to the calling with them since.... no, just no. Makes me sad to think about it.Miri1984 wrote...
Awww. I'm sad that Apostates is coming to an end - but I can't wait to read about Maggie pre-Anders as well. Should be veeerry interesting.
And her pre Anders days? I'm having trouble not making the pre-Ostagar bits read like "Mage Does Ferelden." The girl got around, that's for sure. I think the first appearance of smut will end up in the second chapter.
