Lelli is really difficult, I agree. Wynne, not so much. She reminds me of my mum. Or how I'd like to be at her age .

Aw, that is sweet! My mum is a nicer version of Morrigan. She is a Scorpio, LOL! Posted more fan art, newer versions of ones I did already. I may delete the old ones, please let me know what you think.



I only have trouble with Wynne, when I try to make her too "busy body" or too much of a biddy. I have to watch I don't do that to her.

My two cents...



I think Leliana is driven by a desire to change the world for the better. She doesn't like to see or cause suffering. She also has a streak of the dramatic--she likes to be on a stage, to have an audience. After Marjolaine's betrayal, I think she is also driven by a desire to be loved again and to be happy.



Wynne is the mentor-mother figure and the voice of reason. If someone's walking off the straight and narrow or flirting with disaster, she tries to give counsel (even when it's not wanted). I think she's driven by a desire to nurture moral and ethical maturity in the hearts of her companions, to ensure they become forces for good.

Okay, question for all you talented, talented people out there.  I just wrote an angsty chapter where my PC has a little bit of a whine and a moan.  And I worried that it would be too much angst and that gets tedious.  So, how do you all keep from having too much whine with your cheese?

Your PC can't be a shiny, happy person all the time. It would be unnatural if she was.

Using humour is probably a good deflection. And after all Kai has been through, I'm really not surprised she's having a good moan!

ROFL, well good! I have read some fanfics (no one here) that have been nothing but "oh woe is me" the whole time until I wanted to kick their PC's arse. I hope you will all tell me if I start to give you that feeling. Ugh! And I plowed through it anyways, because I can't stop once I start. Or I don't like to. I have read many a bad novel because of that personality flaw. : P

Kai definitely has earned the right to whine more than a little - I think Zev and Alistair will keep her from going overboard. Sends Kleenex for Kai - I think she needs it.



You have a lot less angst in your FF than I have in mine right now. Hopefully I wil have Zev back to himself a little more in my next chapter.



On that note - Zev and sailing - I think he would love it - any thoughts from y'all?

But Zev, your Zev Tanith is the yum no matter where he is or what he is dressed in. Or not dressed in...*ehem, clears throat and wipes brow* Has it gotten warm in here? And as for angst, yes you do. But you do it in a classy way. And it fits. I was trying to emulate you, my angst hero. Really I read the stuff you all write, and I think, okay, I need to take a page from Miri's book, and I need to do angst like Tanith. Kai thanks you for the kleenex. : D

As you well know, I really worry about overdoing the angst - Zev and Aithne just can't seem to get things right.



And, um yes, there will be some not dressed Zev in this chapter - they have to make up- don't they?
