LOL I will since I am not the only one here that knows 21 Jumpstreet. I thought I was the old lady in a group of youngsters. And I wanna be one of the cool kids, I am never growing up, dontcha know?: D

Ah, never was a horror movie person, but now I'm tempted to watch it just to see him that young. *sigh*..

Uhm, yes...but we all need to be inspired to write, yes? A young Johnny Depp is a very good muse <3

You all can have Johnny Depp if I can have Hugh Jackman - grins.
No, no eyeliner for Zev (and no boots, shirt or anything else by the end of the chapter).

I was going to offer up something more constructive here, but got distracted by Depp.

On another note, my last chapter was fun to write, but still seemed to take forever to write. And I don't mean because fo real world distractions. :huh:Anyone ever have that?

it's really weird, my last chapter was a breeze to write, which is strange as the content is very heavy and nasty. The previous one before that took forever, and it seemed as if I had too many threads in the story to juggle with. Odd how it goes, eh?
I've had some chapters be written so fast it has amazed me and then others where it's felt like it was pulling teeth. Case in point, 'The Summer Sword'. My last chapter I wrote I did in 2 days and I absolutely *love* it. The follow up chapter? It's been fully outlined since the day after I wrote chapter 7. But have I have been able to write it? Nope. I have 1500 words of disjointed ideas and paragraphs that I can't quite sew up together into a nice patchwork quilt of prose.
So I feel for you.

Et tu Tasmen? I have so done that! Chapter 53 case in point. Felt like it wrote itself, and the chapter right after, was like trying to get blood from a stone. UGH! Love "The Summer Sword" btw Tasmen. : D
Oh I love that story too it just isn't cooperating atm. It also doesn't help that I have a lot of Nate on the brain atm. I may have another 'Enemy Inside' chapter up in the next day or so.

Muses are fickle things. I think mine's on vacation, and yet I still want to try and get another chapter done by this weekend...
I think part of my problem too is that what I really want to write is the next chapter(s), but I don't want to skimp on the scene I'm making my way up to. Cousie finally gets the mabari she's wanted since she was at least nine years old

Yes in my mind, he broods with no shirt on and watches...

That's my experience too, some just lag and others almost write themselves, and, most curious of all, this does seem to have much bearing on the quality, breezes can be bad and laboured can be quite good...

Bah, that doesn't count. I cranked that out between work stuff in like half an hour (including the work stuff).
Not even in the same league as writing for Blight and Peace.
