So should I, Inquartata, I just can't seem to fall asleep... my Mahariel Mage is banging on my brain demanding to be released but there's so much going on right now I can't focus on that story without getting an F in all of my classes at Uni....
Are you mad?! NEVER say Glorious in Dragon Age related areas! Don't you know that every time someone says 'Glorious' in Thedas, someone dies?!

Come one guys, it only happened ONCE (only Gorim used it a second time, at the post-coronation, and everyone very much lived afterwards).

Raonar - it was used at Ostagar and Cailan, Duncan, and all of his men died.
It was used again at the Battle of Denerim - not only did Riordan die, along with many soldiers, but there's a chance for one of the Wardens to die (either yourself, Alistair, or Loghain) if you don't do the DR.
That is two instances where when the word Glorious is used to describe a large scale battle, a lot of people usually die in it.

Morrigan "Live gloriously, my friend."
Oh, and I just thought of another, Sophie Dryden and the rebelling Grey Wardens described their rebellion as glorious.. and look at how far they went!

I have a question and this seemed to be the only place I could find lol
Where do we post links to fanfic? I have two chapters of one I'm writing done and up and wanted to share.

Easy. You start a new thread that includes the title of the story (not obligatory) in this very Community Creations forum and put the links there, then add a new post for each new chapter you fnish.
You'll see that a lot of people have threads like these. Welcome to the club
EDIT
Just make sure you only post DAO fanfiction here. DA2 stuff goes in the section similar to this one in the DA2 forum.
You might also add the links to your forum signature if you want.

DA2 stuff can't be posted directly, not like here, I don't think. We started a sister thread to this one on that side. http://social.biowar...08707/2#6629559

The lovely and talented Shadow of Light Dragon maintains a thread with a detailed listing of fanfics here

Sigh...FF.net is screwed up again. I can't reach the chapter section of my Dragon Age stories to add a new chapter...hence no update is possible. Oddly enough it is just the DA-section where I get the server error, I can edit my other stories of another fandom just fine.
I really hate FF. net at times and today is one of those days. Again. *sigh*

Does anyone know of any AU stories where the Warden chooses to leave Ferelden to its fate then come back later with and Orlisian force?

I don't think there are any actually, although i haven't really read that many. Still, with 2000 of the FF.net fics being Cousland/Alistair romances and at least half of the rest one-shots or about the blight/post-origins/awakening, I'm tending to think there are no stories like that.
I remember Sarah1281 telling me once that she didn't remember any fic where the Warden even considers the prospect of abandoning Ferelden, and she's read/written a lot more of these things than me.

Okay, i have a question here. I did not read the calling but I heard of some business about a dwarven prince making a deal with a demon powerful and scary enough that his soldiers were trying to claw their way out of the thaig and would have rather faced a darkspawn horde than that fade spirit. I'm guessing this is the same as the Fade Beast that the warden can put back together? (it's supposed to have happened in Ortan Thaig) .
Could someone outline, or PM me (if more spoilers are to be reviled) exactly what that whole deal was?

And still down as of 10 minutes ago. This is ridiculous. I'm glad FF is my secondary location and not my primary or only one. It's very unreliable.Maria13 wrote...

Thanks Glorf, replied to that.
I also post on Archive of our own, but I hardly get any hits there. Anyway, I should REALLY finish that chapter, but I'm still just half done.

About fanfiction.net. I haven't been able to post a new story either but I did a search and saw that some people, very few, seem to have been able to post. Very strange *sighs*

They figured out a workaround is all. Though with things borked, I don't want to risk attempting that.
