You're fashionably late, Vul. It's cool. The rest of us are just the dorks who showed up when the party was supposed to start, but it didn't really start until you got here.
I didn't even know there was a party?

I didn't even know there was a party?I'm assuming my invitation was lost in the mail, right?
Aww you were one of the first ones here! You were certainly on here before I was!

Awww...thanks, Gil. But, really...I'm not the party. I'm too much of a lightweight. I just wanted to be invited so I can get blackmail material on all of you

I'm not saying that's the only point, I was just complaining a bit 'cause my ego was feeling a bit bruised. I love the feedback I get from people in other avenues, even more so than reviews... but a stranger showing up and dropping their two cents is always niceSorry, I didn't mean for my whining just to be about FF reviews, though I suppose it came off that way. I get other feedback, often of a more constructive nature, from other avenues.
Ah, ok. Sorry for misinterpretting and 'going on' like I think I did, upon re-reading. >.< It's good you've got other places to turn for feedback.
We are odd creatures.

For me, the comments help keep me going. They add fuel to the writing fire and tell me people are enjoying what I'm writing. I don't write for the reviews, but they certainly help to encourage. I don't know how many times I've obsessed about something being wrong with a chapter because the # of reviews I received was down from previous chapters.
Agreed with all that.
I reckon if we all wrote 'Dragon Age: Days of our Lives' with love quadrilaterals, betrayals, murders and people coming back to life every other week, we'd be getting a huge response. ;D
Oh, and welcome to the party, Vul.

Agreed with all that.I can usually figure out why there are more/less reviews, though, so don't obsess too much unless it was a chapter I was *expecting* to get a large response. With an ongoing story in particular (mine, at least), I don't think you can have every chapter as a cliffhanger or with some *gasp* factor. Sometimes it'll be slow, even if it's well-written, and you'll get fewer reviews because of it.
Oh that is very very true. And logically, I know all that. But when those self-doubt gremlins start to tap dance on your head, logic sort of takes a trip to the bathroom to pee.
Oh, and welcome to the party, Vul.

And yes, welcome to the party, Vul. As to the cocktail food, definitely weiners.. Just cant seem to ever have enough weiner* about.
*has dropped to that level....yes

On the other hand, both to Shadow and Tasmen, I LOVE your stories. And I feel terribly guilty for not reviewing. That goes for odie too. I have been so busy, I haven't been able to read. I PROMISE I am still just as in love as I was, but I haven't been able to carve out the time to keep up. It is a real pisser I tells ya. Because I feel horrible that I am contributing to the GoSD and their tap dancing! *gets out bat*

Sorry to all of you that I usually do review and to those of you who I have been slacking on reading your stories. Work has been crazy these last few weeks (I would kill for a day -even a weekend on call day- with less than 12 hours of work).
I'll even supply the duct tape for restraining the Goblins of Self Doubt, I might even be able to find a nice scotch to drown them in - I fear beer may be insufficient.

Personally, I find angsty writing is better fueled by wine and/or vodka (or as I call it...wodka).

Ok so I tried this but then he got angry and told me to never ask about the iBusiness. So thanks for that.

Music is sort of mandatory for me to write as well.
