Oh, the kinkmeme. What a journey of self-discovery that was. The weekend started with one of my irc buddies custom-writing a prompt so specific for me to just get me to write some damned smut already that I think the only comment (other than hers) was "I don't get it."

And then I wrote a few other things and was about to put it away until CAILAN EXPLODED INTO MY LIFE.

We spent a wild weekend together. A wild, glorious weekend. And I haven't been back since. But me and Cailan? We'll always have Val Royeaux.

I admit I am very choosy about what I read on kmeme. There are several authors that I will always read if they provide a link because they write interesting material that highlights something about their characters and their stories do not contain the atrocious phrasing that makes me cringe. I don't look through the archives for random stories though - there are some things I just don't want to read, eg. rape.



I'm still working my way through writing steamy scenes, so I doubt I will be contributing to the kmeme in the near future.

Heh, ultimately, that is why I anon fail a lot of the time too.  Kmeme isn't about only stroking Alistair or Zevran.  Hell no.
