Sundered Order  It's also about two topics down on this page, atm.  XD  I've got a couple others floating around on ff.net, too, and about to start a new one.

I must admit, Gil, I've seen your story but have been hesitant to touch it b/c it's so long.  I might have to give it a try during April vacation.

Since I've got only one story on FF, I got addicted to the stats page - logging in all the time to count the hits and visitors - then the other day I noticed that a member had unlisted my story from his/her favorites page.  Oh, the horror!
My pride was wounded, ego shattered and my  heart broken.  But why? What didn't they like about it.

It's a weird feeling, probably like when someone unfriends you or maybe not since I don't have a Facebook page.

So, sometimes silence is a good thing but having a constructive reader/reviewer is important. I actually signed up to be a beta reviewer on FF but no takers – guess my profile and blog scared/turned them off.

Who knows - the culture of anonymity (shruggs). 

Mmmm, I browse the stats page.  (I actually didn't know about it until a week ago.  XD)  I figure people just cycle out their favorites.  *shrugs*  Does the page actually tell you if they unfavorited it, or do you just keep track of the number?  I prefer any feedback to silence.  With silence, I have no idea what people are thinking.

You are more than welcome to. And I think I shall try to make a more concerted effort to respond to things I like or offer helpful criticisms. The conversation is shaming me into it, if nothing else.

LOL, I wasn't reviewing before either. I would l just read and think, I liked it. Then I put my own story up and realized I had moments when the Gremlin of Self Doubt, that little bugger, would rear its head because of no reviews. I don't do that to authors anymore.



I am also addicted to the stats bars. They were broken for days and I missed out, it kinda made me mad. I was in the 700s - 1000 hits a day before it broke down. Not that I really know what the bars mean, I just like seeing them go up, up, up! : D

I just love when someone paints with a broad brush. And rather arrogant. If you haven't read mine, don't judge it. If you have and you think it is horrible, then I have no complaints. We already had this kind of talk Mastictobacco. So meh. And as to GTFO, please, take your own advice. *bats lashes, while smiling sweetly*



EtteStarz read first two chapters, and LadyD same. I need to make dinner and write my next chapter but I am going to give shout outs to your two stories on mine. I like them both very much. If LadyD keeps going she is going to have 73 + chapters before long! : D Please guys,keep writing.

I wouldn't mind doing mine as a graphic novel. I have imagined it as such. I was just talking to the hubby about the drawing tablet and program for the computer. But it is 2000 bucks. *sigh*   Though he did just order the CS5 Master collection for his web design company. It is very exciting.

So people with no artistic talent shouldn't do fan made stuff?  Yes, I completely understand.  *rolls eyes*  I've read fanfic that is better than many actual published books I've read.  With a lot of it is terrible awful bad stuff, I am not going to say all of it is.  Some of it is merely entertaining, and that's good enoguh for me.  Not like I'm paying for it.

Oh dear god, I hope not.  73 would be a bit much for me, I think.  Perhaps if I were trying to write an actual book instead of just tell a story, then yeah, it would be much more fleshed out.  But I'll take that as a vote of confidence.

LOL Lady D I too have read some really great FF, and I have read some really horrible books, pure dreck. I can't wait until I catch up on your story.



Oh, I am really, really embarrassed about the mentioning the stats. I didn't mean it that way at all. I don't even really know what it says about anything other than the bar graph is cool to watch. I mean hits could be people who looked and then went away without reading the story at all, so that really doesn't say much, Just that someone drilled down on the link. But am an artist too, and I enjoy visuals. : D

I had good constuctive criticism for my story. But now the gremlin of self doubt is raising its ugly noisome little head while doing a jig in me head. Of course that the person sat down and read the whole thing in one sitting is a huge compliment. I don't recommend doing that though. ROFL! : )

Yep, CS5. I think hubby didn't get 4 because he knew 5 was coming out and he saw a sneak preview of what 5 can do and how easy it is to use. It is super fast too. Easy enough that a moron like me can use it I think. : D
