Collector Cruiser Weapon Upgrade

During the mission where you explore the derelict Collector Cruiser you have the chance of grabbing a M-300 Claymore Heavy Shotgun, M-76 Revenant, or Widow Anti-Material Rifle. You're only able to choose one and there's no way to change your decision. The weapon persists through multiple playthroughs, just like with every other weapon.

However, during repeate playthroughs you're unable to pick another weapon from the pile. One would assume with three playthroughs you could eventually collect them all, but this is not the case. The weapon pile remains inactive as if you've already chosen a gun.

Was this a design oversight or intentional behavior?

I think it was intentional. But still stupid. I really want all weapons!

I agree that if it's intentional, it's a silly limitation. Especially for Soldiers who could appreciate having all 3. Although DLC may make this somewhat irrelevant. Example: M22 Eviscerator shotgun being almost as powerful as the M300 Claymore, but with much improved range/tighter spread.

yup i picked the m300 cause im a vangaurd then got the m22 and my pick is now irrelavent sux dick

as a massive collector i just want a file with every item and weapon.
which includes all 3 in the pile
also, dlc new rifle! comon want new improved viper!
how about a bullet power that penetrates multiple targets?
