Hi guys ive solved this problem...first of all stay on the game start
screen and log your account then after this minimize the game and go to
the directory dragon age origins/bin_ship/daoupdate.exe and execute "daoupdate.exe" as asministrator u will launch the updater
but u wont see nothing in progress(Anyway do no close it!)go back to
the game and ull see some updates downloading.


This worked for me and my brother,i did it yesterday and its 100%sure.

I tried that says " Could not connect to local control server for DAUpdaterSvc. Is this service running?"This is pissing me off >>.

It is getting me to the downloading screen to regrab WK, but the install itself fails.

btw, if, under vista, the updater doesnt work, try running it as an admin.

Does anyone know where we can find the downloadable content so I can run the "install dazips"? I remember doing this last year to get it to work, but i can't find those files now, even where they were supposed to be from other searches. I have the preorder key etc etc, so it could verify them when needed. I tried the above solution but i still get nothing...having those dazip files seems to be another key to getting them loaded.

now my DA updater doesnt work anymore...

I have Win7, a ****load of DLC (wardens keep, return to ostagar,...)witch I can download but not install and Redeemed codes ( Blood Dragon armor, Shale, Dalish promise ring ,....) witch i cant download and dont appear into the dlc tab in the game itself (witch it used to do automaticly)

The Witch Hunt DLC doesnt show up in my DLC summary on the social site (i think i already bought it twice)



It Used to work fine on XP



Can Someon help me???? ive spent alot of money and bioware points on this game and i want to play what i paid for.
