Well I just get that from the BioWare page. Tali is 24, Miranda is 35. Obviously teens won't dig Miranda's personality unless they are hornbots. Older people IMO are more apt to dig her. She has an older point of view of life and she is quite mature. Tali on the other hand came off "needy" and rather nervous. I think it is cute and innocent and it's cool, but given Mass Effect 1's Tali, she grew on me as more of a sister. When it comes to Miranda, she seems more mature and "ripe" if you will for a meaningful relationship.
Now mind you I am a Liara fan through and through so neither Tali or Miranda hold a candle to her, but I'm just making an example.
Interesting. I found Miranda to be just as childish in many way. She never actually had a real childhood, and she has all the insecurities of a teenage girl, having never really confronted them as an adult.
Tali definitely is the sweet option. She is young, and clearly very into you, whether you romance her or not.
And then you have Jack, who seems to be the most needy of all three. It seems like she needs someone to love her, or she's just going to fall even further into her pit of despair and hate. Hers was the best scene, IMO.
I also find it interesting that you are looking at people's interests in meaningful relatioships, which is something not really suggested by the plots of both ME1 and ME2. Essetially the only thing that happens is one scene of two people offering each other comfort before going into battle. The only reward is watching how the scenes play out.
This is why I actually ended up going with Jack first, because that scene ended up being more interesting to me then Tali's.
