Well, I can't argue one thing though, I think as a squadmate she's terrible. AI hacking is practically useless, heck there's barely any time you can use it, just a few missions where there's Geth.

And the combat drone might as well not even be there. Worst combat ability in the game in my opinion.

As a squadmate she is terrible for insanity. The combat drone is nice cause the enemies focus on that rather than your face.

Never really cared for Tali, most likely never will. She gets to stay on the ship and play with the engines, just like in ME1. I prefer the other characters for my squad.

Agreed!! Especially for mass effect 2, so many new interesting party members to choose from.

Always an interesting character (though not a good choice for a romance), but the nonsense about her has gone too far.

I agree. Plus, The Quarians are technically in the wrong anyways. They want to wipe out the Geth but ironically they're the ones who created them and then tried to kill them. Uh, self-defense anyone? I would definitely side with the Geth.

There's always other enemies around, so it only distracts maybe one or two at a time, the rest are still showering me with bullets...unless you mean where there's one enemy left? Then the drone really is useless lol...

Wow. An Anti-Tali thread? Really?



I don't "get" Kaiden, Jack, or Miranda, but I can at least empathize with people that do like them for some reason or another. I find Tali to be one of the most interesting, with the physical barriers that define her life.



I honestly am not an "anti" supporter of any character. Every single character has their moments and depending on how much you invest in these characters is how much you get from them. You get to know Jack and she'll come across as very tragic and sympathetic. You put time into knowing Miranda and you'll realize she's not just a preppy cheerleader type. You invest in Thane or Tali or Jacob and all of them will shine in their own unique way.



That's great and I support every character.

Geth are much more interesting anyways. Legion really introduced more depth to their kind.

I find it moderately useful. But I never use Tali in my insanity playthrough. I use Miranda and Samara almost all the time. Warp is a lifesaver.

To be fair, the lore is that the Geth rebelled and conquered their homeworld. I can see there being some animosity towards that, especially since it lead to the dismantling of their embassy and ultimately locked them in their suits. I would think some animosity is to be expected.

I'm not sure I trust the Geth more than the Quarians either.

Then ignore the forum or Tali threads. That's extremely easy to do and is no fault of the character in the game or Bioware's direction.

I swear, some people get so upset over the silliest things.
