WTF?) but judging an entire group because of one person isn't the right thing to do, and i can say that i like Tali more so because she reminds me of a girl I like in real life and because she is such a good character... I'm completely sane (and trust me that threesome thing creeped me out as much as it creeped everyone else out)

so please no more hating on Tali because of a few strange people... we all want the same thing and we're merely defending Tali so she has a better part in ME3.

She was my first LI choice in ME2 (Tali that is...) but personally she's just a VERY interesting character.

I can't stand excessive "fanboyism", that's for sure...

Thats creepy but the creepiest was a guy saying he thinks having sex with Tali would be like making love in a bath tub of vasaline, that creeped me out the most.

the thread grows so much it's impossible for me to read everything but that does sound weird. We have had our share of people who only think about the sex in the game... personally i just like her because she has a nice personality and she was always there for you.

For the most part all the thread is, is fan art of Tali and speculation of what she looks like, sometimes theres a troll or two but they don't stay around for long...

some people may not like fanboyism and i agree, i just posted here to say that not everyone is like that...

I agree, this has gotten way out of hand and somebody needs to step up and bring some maturity around these boards. Admiral, just enjoy Tali and let haters do just that, unfortunately you can't stop haters. It is good to see that you don;t have the mindset of some of the idiots (Tali Obsessed idiots) I've run accross, so it's comforting to know that you feel the way you do about us who just so happen to like the other LIs more. Good luck to you and the "sane" Tali fans on getting her back. I hope you wish the same for me with Liara and Miranda.

well i've been called immature before just because of the fact that i'm only 15... kinda like how people are judging all the Tali fans because of a few perverted people so i though i might as well step up and show that i;m not immature... most Tali fans tend to hate Miranda though just becasue they're the 2 main LI's in ME2, i really don't have a problem with her though, everyones entitled to their own opinion and if Bioware didn't agree then there would only be 1 LI in the games...

and the main reason we're supporting Tali is because of Liara and her crappy cameo in ME2 (ash's is even crappier) we just don't want that to happen to Tali and that's why we post...

I just hope people here can understand that and stop hating us for a couple people (they also posted those comments almost 2 days ago and people have settled down since then)

I'm a little unsure where the line is on where fan and fanatic lies. I haven't seen anyone going "I pressed my dkk to the screen when Tali came on." That's to far. She's an interesting character. Like people say, she's the teenager. A trying time for a human and for someone who lives in a suit their entire lives I imagine it is tougher. It makes for a good part of the story. I more like the Quarian people. Space Gypsy's is something that never crossed my mind before.

There are two reasons I dislike Tali: the horrible voice acting/silly fake accent, and her constant complaining/issues. The former is what killed her for me on first impression and I don't know that there's any recovering from that. Its unfortunate, because as a race I find the Quarians quite interesting.

Honestly I'm starting to understand it's an age thing. Plus it is obviously a preference thing. I'd bet if you all did a census of all the fans for Tali, the majority are teenagers. That would explain a lot (AND I DON'T MEAN IMMATURE, I mean simply for preference sake). Now I am sure there is room for error in this idea, but it is starting to make a lot of sense. Teenagers like Teenagers. It reminds me of Twilight, the teenage girls were swarming over that movie, but the more mid-late twenty's people thought it was classic immaturity. Well, either way, to each their own.

I honestly don't mind disliking a character, but generalizing everyone who likes that character as an obsessed teenager is absurd.
