Tali is a simple character, but she is caring and has integrity.

I talked to miranda and she had nothign to say other then whining about her sister, then proved to be the biggest hypocrite with her refusal to acknowledge what happened to jack



all she did was make excuses for TIM and cerberus the hole game



But cause she has a hot ass she gets a pass

I agree I like her too, and I don't hate any character never have, and I probably never will.

I've heard this and I really don't see how it happens. It's a complete 180 for her, but it didn't happen in my game, so I can't say much about it, I simply know her as TIM's lap dog.

- Hates everybody.
- Self-proclaimed b-itch.
- Generally unappealing personaltiy.
- Not really all that useful in game.

Yep.

It's laughable watching people claim she has no personality, when she has plenty. Apparently being hot = not having any personality? Maybe they just missed the personality because they were staring at her chest during conversations, and I really can't fault them for this. But it's definately there folks.

agreed. She was the most emotionally secure, of the romancible girls. She's independant, confident and strong willed, but with a soft side.

However not everyone mesh's well with every personality. Your other two options are Jack, and then Tali, of course I like both of the characters, Tali is cutsy and Jack is the polar opposite. Miranda fits nicely in the middle.

She has no will of her own. Daddy only wanted her for his legacy so she never learned to think for herself so when Cerberus took her in she just absorbed their ideology like a sponge.

I actually liked her face. She's attractive, but in an interesting way. Really, the only thing I hate about her is everything that isn't her physical appearance.

If a character doesn't appeal to you, grow up, get over it, and ignore it. Different characters have different personalities that don't always mesh with what you want or desire. For example, I'm not particularly fond of Jack, but I don't hate her because she IS a compelling character.



Every character in ME2 is as well. There are NO bad characters in the game. There are some you may not like (like Udina), but they are still well crafted with unique personalities, histories, goals, and motivations. Some might empathize with the Illusive Man, others might find Jack irresistible, some might find Grunt better than Wrex, or any other opinions, but it's outright asinine to "hate" a character simply because they don't appeal to you.

No, I like her b/c she had a wait for it....personality. Again you're choice not to like her, but to say she was boring or whatever...is obviously on you, don't blame the character.

She's by far the most boring chracter in the game. Take ANY female lead in ANY cheesey action movie of the last decade and she'd be the exact same person.

Miranda's character was a necessary element for the game's theme, as she was that business minded corporate type who wanted to keep things focused but ended up getting too involved with the team. You NEED one of those when you have a corporate setting, working for Cerberus I mean.



I really do not like her appearance though... The face bothers me.



Funny accent though, that always scores points with me. That's why I like the Quarians, they're an accent treasure trove. Oh, and Zevran.

What do you mean? She's the epitome of the "bad girl with daddy issues" archetype. The new "female leads have to be independent to sate the femenists but vulnerable and hot enough to give the guys a woody" fad that's hit hollywood like a plague.

 I think the main reason people dislike her is because they think she was designed to just be eye-candy and want to feel like they're original, so they dislike her on principle.  Anyone that actually goes through the character's potential dialogue though sees that she does actually have personality and she's fairly well written.  Not the best character I've ever seen, but a long way off from the worst.
I would probably agree that she's the best LI in ME, 1 or 2, though.  Tali doesn't appeal to me (very highschool feel to it imo), ash is boring, Jack is a ****, Liara is blue and goes through a drastic and unrealistic (imo) change.
