I think this is the critical juncture at which we diverge. I don't feel Miranda has anything to apologize for, and you do. I would admit that TIM, at least, should apologize for not being thorough enough. I felt it was fairly obvious that TIM was being fed false information, and simply didn't have an inside man to feed him the right information. The head researcher basically said he wasn't telling TIM everything.

Regardless, this is purely a matter of perception, and not something either of us is likely to convince the other.

Aye. I do appreciate all the fun discussion, but I have grown quite tired of this discussion and feel that I have defended my position far past the point of sensibility, so I think I'm just going to have to wish the rest of you the best of luck with carrying this nonsense on.

Maybe because Miranda was not one of the people who ruined her life? It seems fairly obvious to me. Jack even checked the project files and knew exactly who was responsible. And Miranda was allways civil towards her.

I can see the problem is you cannot put yourself in Miranda's place. Again, why would she second guess TIM, who protected her and her sister their whole lives? And as I said, if TIM is as cunning as we believe, he would make sure nothing would happen while she was with Cerberus that would cause her to doubt him.

That's why it was risky putting her under Shepard's command. She would see things that would begin eating away at her loyalty. But of course, none of it could be traced directly to TIM as his personal orders and actions. Until the endgame, where for the first time she saw it first hand and promptly broke her ties with him and joined Shepard.

Miranda was hardlly civil twrods jack, she recomnd knockign her  uncounchious,  trys to stop shepard form activley helping her, and is incredibly passive agressive

Miranda is awesome and this thread is just proof of how diverse and well-written her character is. If her personality was so "boring" or "dull" then people would ignore her like a lot of people do with Kaiden. Instead people are taking time out of their day to write about how much they hate her.

I like him too. He does tend to be overlooked as a character though and that's why I used him as an example. Sorry Kaiden fans! No offense intended.

Really well thought out and articulated argument you've got there. But considering your other contributions to the thread, I guess it is to be expected.

Miranda is not perfect, just like every other being in the universe. She's going to make mistakes. Some of you just seem to get really bothered by them. Fair enough. I'm not bothered by them, because I can understand why she makes them and I don't consider them to be that serious.

Well, I can see that continuing this discussion is pointless since we are not going to agree and we don't have to. It's fine. If everyone had the same opinion the world would be a lot less interesting.

Miranda is a well written character and a good addition to the game.

Yes, I do hate her - she annoyed the hell out of me and I wanted her to die, but that kinda means it got a reaction from me, which in the end is a good thing.

The reason I strongly dislike Miranda is that she's a totally pro-Cerberus character. And she accepts all their methods and trusts TIM more than me after all I have done for her. I wouldn't take her in my crew again If I only could. Maybe I'll try to make a save where she dies because I know she's popular enough to be a squadmate in ME3 but I don't want to see her again.

And its basicly an ass pull to keep her with you once the game ends....
