Huh. Maybe it's random, in my game she didn't tell TIM off. Maybe because I did ^^ Jacob said my speech was the best way to say I'm leaving. Seems like he trusts me more than TIm and cerberus. Miranda congratulated me but told nothing more. That is why I've thaught she's pro-Cerberus.
she is ridculously pro cerberus thogh your right on that

And Miranda had the goddamn sense to come up with a solution that only affected herself and her sister. She didn't lash out at the world over it, or blow up her father's house. Moreover, the situations are completely different. Miranda wasn't tortured or experimented on. She was "born perfect" from the start. They didn't need to perform any dangerous experiments on Miranda. They basically made her from scratch.
Miranda, nor anybody else, for that matter, is inclined to give two ****s about what happened to Jack. That Jack expects anybody to is just further proof of how fragile she is. This idea that Miranda or anybody else except the people who tortured Jack should feel remorse about torturing Jack is preposterous. Why are people who had nothing to do with her torture supposed to care, exactly?

Jack dosent care if they care, infact pitying her would just ****** her off
But this sint about jack it sabout miranda
Ether miranda is a a selfish **** or shes a deep character who knows the diffrence from right and wrong
the Former is the one she proves to be for the most part
its hypocrtical for her to fully support a group that dose that to people and then feel victimized by her father,

I fail to see how not bawling over somebody else's emotional baggage is the least bit selfish. I think Miranda's more taking the "cry me a river, things are tough all over" stance. It's certainly harsh, but not worrying about the plights of complete strangers does not make one selfish. If Miranda were truly selfish, she wouldn't care about her sister at all.

No a selfish person can care about other people espcialy if its a member of their family, why Cause its THEIR family, its along the lines of the age old question " would you save 1 sibling or 20 strangers"
Mirandas stance is basicly its "ok aslong as it dosent affect me"
this is why shes able to so easily ignore the evils of the group shes blindly loyal too

What part of "The Subject Zero Cell was defying orders and lying to the Illusive Man" do you not understand? Miranda isn't going to feel pity for Jack just because a bunch of guys who happened to be members of Cerberus went nuthouse. It's patently clear that Illusive Man doesn't approve of the torture or enslavement of children, and therefore Cerberus doesn't approve. Just because the Zero Cell wore the uniform doesn't mean they represented Cerberus' ideals.
The Illusive Man had all the surviving doctors killed, even, and sent the surviving children away for medical treatment at Alliance facilities.
You still haven't provided any reason why anybody should care about the plights of strangers, and how not caring somehow makes one selfish. Nobody but the men who tortured her owe Jack anything. Miranda doesn't need to apologize for something she and Cerberus in general aren't directly responsible for.

Your point would be valid if Edi dint reval that Cerbeurs at any given time only runs a few cells so that TIM can keep his eye on them
the fact that Tim sanctions **** Like Acuz ,
and that they new that they were kidnapign kids i nthe first place
maybe not how far they went in the experiments but thats a ****ign detail at that point
Miranda flat out refused to admit that what happend to jack was wrong, she was to focused on belive that Her cerberus wouldnt do that

TIM can only do so much. He's a powerful man, but the Pragia scientists were manipulating their reports to give TIM false data. They didn't find out what was really going on until after they sent a team to shut the project down. And, again, he had the surviving doctors killed and sent all the kids to get proper medical treatment. If he condoned enslaving and torturing children, why would he give them all away?

why would he sign off on the kidnaping in the first place, why would he did wha the did in the ascension novel
my oppion those kids werent worth any thing as biotic potentials so he threw them away, and as for the scintists they were made examples off
its not liek Cerberus is above doign things like this
Toombs is proof enough of that

I personally liked Miranda's character and thought she was fairly well written, though I definitely see how you could dislike her as she is a bit cold in the beginning... that and the whole "I <3 Cerberus!!" thing. Well, at the very least she's evoking some emotion from you guys..
She was a bit delusional and naive about Cerberus truth be told and doesn't really realize the truth until the end of ME2 when she quits when Shepard destroys the base (I'm also assuming you have to do her loyalty mission as well to get this.). She basically took what the Illusive man said about the evil crap he was doing at his word and never actually witnessed that stuff.
He probably was fully aware of what that Cerberus cell was doing to Jack and those other children and knew they were feeding false reports and let them continue thinking that he can feign ignorance when the confronted about the experiments in the future.
