Reasons: bald, small breasts, gothic lipstick, basically naked, crappy tattoos, cliche, annoying, cold, randomly swears, fought with Miranda, etc.

Chidish, brash, non-chalent, overkill archtype, too easy to hate, the list goes on...

Omigawd, I can't believe you hate Jack in this thread.

Jack does seem that way at first, but she gets better. A little. I guess she's just the most complex human character so far which makes me overlook any poor writing.

Dont know the character well enough to have any emotional connection truth be told.

The swearing did get old fast but im 44 years old so stuff like that doesnt impress me like it did when I was 13-22 years old.

I mostly hated how in battle she did a sort of crab stride walk when going sideways while shooting her shotgun, does not look good with her baggy pants, makes her look like a little boy

@OP If you knew her story you wouldnt be so quick to judge, try to take her to different planets and see what shes got to say saved my butt from the seeker swarms.

I gained her loyalty and talked to her as much as I could. I did her loyalty missions and seen what see been though, but everyone has their baggage, it juse seemed like she never got over it, and wasn't content unless you hated her.

What did she do that was badass? Lead her squad into an ambush, call for help, and run away? Her name being balcklisted added nothing to anything, it was just like her religion moment "let me tell you something about my past AND BE IMMEDATELY DEFENSIVE FOR NO REASON BEFORE YOU RESPOND"

Can't function with other people and her solution to that is to kill everyone else

The tattoos are just... a blur. They're not worth studying to get some meaning from. They're just there. Random. Pointless.

The small girl acting tough routine is so old and cliché that it's enough to hate her for that.

She's really ugly.

I had a shotgun pressed against him, she didn't have to do anything.

She coudl have taken him head on if she was a Badass, like Shepard taking him head on.
