But this is the same developer that made the most boring ME1 character return as a LI just because the fans wouldn't shut up about her, so I guess I'm just gonna have to expect Jack to be gone in ME3.

I didn't romance her, I will give you that, but I exhausted most conversation options with her. You like her, I get that. Many of us don't - dismissing what we are saying as "oh well you don't know her like I do" does not help convince anyone.

Speaking for myself, my biggest gripe is that I am forced to recruit this person. I can see being forced to work with the others, you do need a viable team. But Legion and Grunt are better team players and they are optional. Making Jack optional would not harm the ME story in anyway. Being forced to recruit Jack breaks the story, breaks immersion and is a burden to me and many other players.

Finally, there is no way Jack can be cut out of ME2 - what is done is done. As for ME3, lets face facts - any squad member in ME2 is prone to death. I will be VERY impressed if Bioware gave any of these people more than a cameo role in ME3. But I don't think it will happen. I only hope that in the future, characters that fit poorly into the storyline like Jack are optional.

I really did try to like Jack. But during one of our talks, she asks me why am I asking all these questions. In then the whole "If this is about sex, you should just ****ing say so", line came next. Last time I talked to her. People like her just are hard to like. She could have eased up a tad after her Loyalty mission, but she doesn't.

its crappy arguments like that that are most annoying, not only do you not give any reasoning behind your argument but your argument is clearly false- in a game where each squad member has 3-4 conversations throughout the game jack has the most diverse dialog, a much more interesting back story and is clearly much more developed than miranda and most of the other squad


no one can deny the fact that she is more developed shes the only character than you can change throughout the game

btw she does "loosen up" just not instantly she does get softer- she still swears but she does open up and have conversations where she explains why shes like that  about bad past relationships, and boyfriends dying and stuff and cries so yea she does loosen up but you have to wait a while

i cant believe people are actually complaining that you get to talk to characters in an rpg

i agree with most of this statement i dont agree that they brought back a "boring" character but i do agree that 90% of the people that whinge about characters are simply too stupid to understand or too lazy to do all the talking and get to know the character- if you arent gonna talk to your team and understand them then dont play RPG's especially not bioware ones
