most easy way get Jack killed is not doing the Loyal quest, and completly iqnore her.

at least that worked on my suicide mission, only jack did not made it out alive :) guess she not that though.

Way ahead of you buddy! Unfortunately you cannot sent Jack through the tubes, she is not an option for that. I didn't have her loyalty, did not upgrade her, and she was still very difficult to kill.

I think when you take two members in the final fight with you, the one who doesn't have loyalty for you will die in the end. Perhaps that could be the ticket?

Did you even read that?...Anyway...Again everyone there has their own problems. Thane has been killing since he was a teenager...Does he act like that? Hell, Zaeed was more personable than her. I'm not saying she had to be nice, but even when you showed actual interst in her, she went out of her way to to be combatative as possile, just ignoring everyhing around her, only thinking about herself.

Jack sucks because she doesn't act nice to you the second you show interest in her?

Thane considers what happend to him an honor, and was allowed to have meaningfull relationships with other people

Zaeed again had a choice

Zero didnt have a choice, every one she met  had  used and  hurt her,

she was combative cause she ahd no reason to belive you cared untill you broke down her barriers

inthe real world if soem one went through what zero went through, [if they dint kill them selves] They would be incredibly untrusting

I did take the time to talk to Jack, but I still did not like her. After each conversation I find myself looking for ways to get her to leave.

There is also another thing I noticed. The people at the Cerberus facility have orders not to kill her, the reasons there are clear - she is the subject that will have all the best stuff injected into. On the prison ship though, the guy over the alarm system says that the guards should not kill Jack. Why not? She is the one bringing the ship down out of orbit. It seems no one wants to kill Jack, but Jack wants to kill plenty of people. She thinks she survived because she is tough, but the fact is she survived because no one (including shep) has the option to kill her!

Thane was also raised from the age of six to believe that assassination is perfectly okay. And, he actually killed his first target at twelve. He also wasn't tortured, and was loved and respected by his hanar masters.

He absolutely does. Every time you visit Thane he's moping around, meditating on his past, recalling his dead wife etc. He's probably the worst choice to pick if you're going to claim no one else acts like you say Jack does, actually.

Because Thane is a different character. Experiences shape people in different ways...and how you are raised is one of the most important areas of development.

Jack doesn't trust anyone. I don't see why people have a problem with characters like this.

Warden Kuril doesn't want to kill Jack because he captured her once before, and he could still sell her. He's merely determined that Shepard is too dangerous to attempt to capture, and rightly so.

Shepard: Capture? Nah. I'll just release a wave of homicidal maniacs and then shoot everybody who gets in my way.

I'd think it's because the prison ship is basically slaver ship. Jack being powerful biotic is probably seen as very valuable, more than the other prisoners.

It's all a scam. People pay for Jack, then Warden Kuril traps them and imprisons them. He tried it with Shepard, and we kicked his ass.

I don't think he imprisons people just for buying Jack. I think he did it because being able to sell Commander Shepard is too good to pass up.

I wouldn't say I hate her or that I dislike her because she's ugly (though that bra strap thing creeps me out) but I dislike her because she's a cliched "arrogant because she's invincible because the developers only sent her up against idiots" like riddick bun-bun or House. Seriously BULLET! head! GAME OVER! And if it takes an amp to use biotics how come nobody just takes from her? (Frankly, I think bioware just decided to make biotics magic now) She's also not that useful (at least to my sentinel and vanguard) in combat, so she's just cut scene over powered, which is lame.

Before this game came out I disliked every squad mate in the game, and while that changed after a while I still dislike it bioware tries to be edgy.

Well, he tried to capture Shepard because he saw Shepard as valuable catch too. But if it was just some generic henchman to pick Jack up i'd figure he'd get the deal done simply to get the money.

I didn't mean that they get imprisoned for buying Jack. I just meant, Jack is extremely powerful, and people are willing to pay a lot for her. If he get's money, imprisons the buyer, and then sells her again, he basically has unlimited money.

Until Shepard comes along

That makes sense, but to have to go through all this is stupid. Sure it's meant to be real, but almost o a fauly. This isn't a relationship SIM. I understand she had barriers, but it wasn't handeled well. She was too loud, and in your face. If anything she woulnd've been disconnected and not so overbearing.

They wouldn'v been untrusting, but not nearly as hard to deal with.

No I understand the cash motivation for keeping Jack, it just seems that all the money in the world is not worth having the ship crash out of orbit with you on it.

Edit: As for Jack having it tough compared to others - no she did not have it as bad as the other characters. No one is trying to kill Jack. Shep has plenty of people trying to kill him. Zaeed took a bullet to the head, Thane's occupation always carried the risk of death, it goes on. The only people who exploited Jack were people who wanted to keep her alive and safe.

So...ok...Jack is self-centered, I guess. But honestly, can you actually name an instance in which any of the other party members "took one for the team"? I mean Mordin did research to help out, but that's really about it.
You make it sound as if all the other NPCs are sitting around a campfire singing Kum-bay-yah and making sandwiches for orphans while Jack is over in the shadows peeing in the lunchboxes.

Anyway, I thought she was one of the better characters in the game. She kind of reminds me of Ana Lucia from Lost. She was victimized and left vulnerable, so now she's deathly afraid of being put into that position ever again. At the end of the day, all she really wants is someone to hold her, make her feel loved for who she is, etc...

Yeah, I just psycho-analyzed a video game character...how many Nerd Points does that earn me?

He doesn't have long and bad personal history with Cerberus so there's less incentive for him to be unpleasant to Cerberus representatives. But he's just as stuck in his past as Jack is supposed to be, which was supposedly childish and reason to hate the character.

No one else asked for Cerberus files. No one elses had a fiight with another member(except Tali, and she is just as bad) Hell, not everyones else trusted Cerberus but they didn't let that get in the way of anything. I'm not saying she had to love Shepherd but she couldn't even have a talk w/o reventing in to her" deep, dark, and tortured past".

I gues Toombs form the first game was  childish as well

and lets not forget the girl form the docks, How childish of her
