I don't change my opinion, i more prefer ME1, and ME1 was for me more realistic, and you can say whatever you want, I just expressed my opinion and i'm not going change this, i know what i feel :)
(ME2 is to easy for me)

... for serious?  Bad guys running around, not taking cover, and barely putting a dent in your shield is more realistic then bad guys taking cover, making you think during a fight, and having a chance of killing you if they flank you?
If you say so...

Yes more realistic, because i want more rpg, no shooter i said this i hate shooter (for shooter ofcourse i agree ME2 is more realsitic for shooter but no for rpg) in rpg when you have big level, there is no chance to some weak NPC can kill you, Big level = You are to hard for opponents.

Yeah guys it verry realistic, when weak NPC can kill that much powerfull samara or zero, yeah is verry realistic.

I'm not going change my opinion ME 1 is better.

The funny thing is that most ME1 forums are filled with people complaining that the game doesn't work very well as a shooter. You can't please everyone. And it seems highly unlikely that Bioware will be changing back to the old system.

Personally, I like the way guns work more in this one, but I do miss some of the old powers...

I hope not since that would probably mean Shepard getting spaced again :crying:

My only problems with the game are how short the missions feel and how little your romances actually affect the story.

As for the skills in ME2, the original game had only small upgrades to each skill, where ME2 has fewer points to spend, but a larger increase in skills.

This!! ME 2 have kinda archived more stuff into fewer parts. And I like the ME 2 more than ME 1. There just need to be some serious balancing polishing to do, thinking of certain classes. Adept, Vanguard and Engineer may be the ones who need an overhaul.

If you don't like shooters why did you choose to play more mass effect? Just play another bioware game with lack of guns. Bringing back the old system would be a step back don't you think? I mean future space adventure should have at least have half the game play focusing on futuristic weapons to use, should that not be a given?

I dont understand why everyone doesnt like the combat in ME1. I prefer it. ME2 is too fast..yeah, like shooter. ME1 was more like Fallout, nothing wrong with Fallout is there?

I much preferred ME1. ME2 honestly just felt like a generic shooter with some arbitrary level up system tacked on.

Exploration was disappointing, lack of loot was disappointing, limited character customisation was disappointing. Main plot was disappointing. Side missions were disappointing. The new direction in general just killed the game for me. It's not that ME2 is bad, it's just lost the magic it had for me in ME1.

Overall I felt the ME2 was.... forgettable, while ME1 stays as one of the games I have most enjoyed in my 18+ years of gaming, and one of the first I recommend to friends.

ehhhh maybe ME2 is better because you really must play more tactical, and ok i can agree, maybe system is better (however i still more like ME xD) but this new system is to easy, i hope they will expand this system xD

Sorry if you think I am attacking you but ME system was why toooooooooooo easy you became a Tank sorry but I think having to hide so you don't die is harder then standing there taking shoots and you plucking off all the enemys before they even got though your shield. Sorry but ME2 system is harder

I cannot believe how many people I see waxing nostalgic over ME1's combat system. There might have been more points to spend, more guns, and more abilities, but there was far less substance. Every squad point spent has far more impact on how you play than in ME1. Getting a new gun in ME2 is actually exciting (as opposed to having to turn it into omni-gel immediately because you have no inventory space, and there's no point in selling it because you've had max money all game). The only abilities I ever bothered to use were Throw, Lift, and Accuracy/Carnage. Squad member abilities were never needed.

Combat is so much more tactical and exciting in ME2. The only real complaint I can think of is the limited use of abilities in higher difficulty levels, with the omnipresence of armour and shields. It could use a little tweaking in that area, but nothing major. Reverting to ME1 style combat would be an enormous mistake.

I enjoy the new system. The slower skill progression and higher emphasis on shooter combat made Mass Effect 2 far more challenging than its predecessor. In ME1 you could beat Insanity in a few hours using an adept while doing nothing more than throwing up a new biotic barrier every few seconds. In ME2 Insanity is still a challenge when your character is fully upgraded and skilled.

This is your problem if you take down all enemy by tank, i take down all enemy by myself, not using tank. And destroy Tank gehts was really hard.

I think shepard is meant to be a tank. Hes taking on a group of sentient starships... On the ground... With an SMG.......... Durability is a must for this guy. That being said my Vanguard in ME1 threw up a barrier and took a stroll through enemies laying wast to them with a pistol... I think a half way point between GOD and god is needed.

So it looks like the OP prefers click-and-watch-you-character-attack-based action. Go play runescape.

I'm with the people who like combat more in ME2. I was pissed at first with the all abilities cool-down, but once i started playing i really liked layering effects w/ your squad-mates. Having miranda slam some clown into the stratosphere that is stuck in a singularity is way cooler than anything in ME1.

I do think there need to be more weapons. Not a crap-load, but enough that you really need to make tactical choices instead of always going with the upgrade. The only weapons i ever changed were shepard's heavy weapon

Personally, I prefer the combat in ME2, but I badly miss the crappy inventory system XD I think if they introduced a junk section to the inventory (Dragon Age) then it would be far easier to control. Overall, keep combat, just add more ways to kill things :D

Also, confused as to why Sentinels powers cool faster than Adept or Engineer, if they are the specialists, shouldn't they cool faster?

I Love the game play in Me2. Me1 just felt to much like walk into room, spam powers, shoot till dead, and then proceed through level.......hmmm all kinds of boring right there. Ya you did get lots of powers and so did your squad mates but I felt like there just wasn't enough depth to the combat system. I love rpgs but I think the way they redid ME2 was just awesome. I dont like how biotic powers dont work if they have shields or barriers, but the combat system is far superior to me1. Its funner, faster, and makes you think more. You actually have to use your companions and also they limit the builds a little to make them more unique. in Me1 u can play vanguard, but give him singularity and he just feels like and adept with a shotgun. Common BORING. Me2 makes you think a little more about your build and what characters you bring a long with you. In Me2 I feel like each individual class is actually specialized in what they do and not just a cookie cutter build you can build over a couple of different classes by adding a special power to the build that the build lacks over the other.
