How do I extract the game's wavs from an erf (or wherever they are)?

So, I've made this really nice NPC that needs to intervene in some conversations.

I edit the stg and dlg of the other creatures and add my NPC's dialog. It all works like a charm.

Now, I have the following problem:

- If I generate VO, all the NPCs in that dialog will have a really crappy robo-voice.

So the question would be:

- How do I extract the original sound from that dlg from the game so when I generate the vo it will pick up the right wav files?

- OR: Do you have a brilliant idea that will allow the npcs to keep their voice, and my npc to have a voice? :-)

Thanks!

For extraction techniques, you can start here: http://social.biowar.../index/385958/1

For keeping the original and new VOs apart, look here: http://www.damods.co...pic=973.msg5409
