You get legion once you finish the IFF quest and after that you only get 1 more mission to do before the collectors abduct you, is there a way to do both tali and legions quest after the IFF quest or can only one of them be done before the collectors arrive?

I believe you have to do all the loyalty missions BEFORE getting the IFF, as it only gives you time for one more mission if you choose to let Legion join your crew. (which is supposed to be used for him)

Don't do legion's loyalty quest. Just do Tali's then go spank the collectors. You can keep him alive still if that is a concern, just don't have him do anything important and get lucky when they hold the line for you. My first play through Miranda was not loyal and she survived.

You can do a loyalty mission after the final story mission. As long as you have all the ship upgrades and made all the other characters loyal, just keep the disloyal character in your squad, and you should be fine.

Nah, I had the Reaper IFF, couldn't go to the galaxy map without starting the endgame. Then I got Legion's loyalty mission and was allowed to travel again. After the mission, the galaxy map was back to unusable without starting the endgame again. So I could do Legion's mission before the raid on the Normandy.



Did no one else get this? That's odd...

Except for the final battle, in which non-loyal members generally end up dead and I believe even then it might be a roll of the dice situation if they live/die defending the door.

No after the cwer were abducted I did legions mission ASAP and they still died.

I don't see a problem, after the IFF mission activate Legion, do Tali mission and after that Legion loyalty quest, squad abduction should activate after Legion quest

No after the cwer were abducted I did legions mission ASAP and they still died.

That is where you went wrong, you should do it BEFORE they get abducted

After IFF mission you should generally get 1-2 missions before the abduction, that is your 'slot' for doing it.

One of the previous posters mentioned doing Legion's mission after the suicide mission (final battle) ie. picking continue instead of going to main menu.

 I did Tali's loyalty mission when EDI was saying the IFF is being uploaded and it was going to take time.  When I got back when EDI had told me it is ready and I should take a shuttle I went to Legion and started him up again.  This gave me another side mission and I did his loyalty quest..

yes, I've just finished game doing Tali quest with Legion

You can do both tali and legions loyalty quest and still have all crew members survive. Just have everyone's loyalty mission done before you reach the IFF ( save tali and legions) and then youll get Legion.



After getting Legion, go directly to Tali's loyalty mission, and then after that Legion will want to talk to you. talk to him, and then do his loyalty.



The game gives you two loyalty missions after the IFF, accessing the map after that will trigger the event.

I like Legion, and my playthroughs on my Infiltrator have all had him in the final mission on my squad.

If you get Tali last, before the IFF mission, Then do the IFF mission, You should be able to do Tali's loyalty then Legion's and then the crew gets abducted, yes?

I tried it was the first thing I did backon the normandy was activate legion, afterr that I went to the map to do is loyalty and then the abduction happened no slot was availible:crying: now my ship has hardly any crew after the game.

I still don't understand very well how this works. I had time to do 2 missions between getting the IFF and it being activated, with the crew kidnapping. I used that time to complete his and Thane's missions, but if I had left Tali instead of Thane, why couldn't I bring Legion with me?



Does the installation of the IFF take one, two missions, or is it random?

iff to abduction takes one mission. if you do legions mission, you get to do 2 missions.
