Hello all

I have just purchased this game and have left thec castle where the player's father dies.  As of yet I have not had any coversation choices pop up whenever I appear to be asked a question it seems as the sppech skips and the npc's answer me as I have selected something, is this normal or should I have now been given some choices to make
