Hey, I think this is the right place for a topic such as this. I've recently beaten ME2 on my main Shep and now I'm back in ME1 going for 2 more completed characters to import. At the moment, I have a lvl 45 Adept that I'm playing through on Hardcore with. Hasn't been too impossible until now, on Ilos. I'm in that security room where you unlock the door Saren went through, but as soon as I get myself, Liara and Kaiden into the main area, I get bum-rushed by at least 2 Geth destroyers, a slew of shock troopers and I'm thinking 1 "real big" Geth, I can't remember what he was called at this moment. 

I've tried different strategies, I'll run in, duck for cover and start throwing around biotics, but my squad goes down faster than the blink of an eye and I'm sitting there either being rushed by a destroyer or stomped on by the bigger guy.

What should I do? Stasis the most powerful Geth and deal with the lesser Geth as fast as possible? Use my squad as a distraction and take down all the little ones?  

I really wanna avoid taking this down to veteran or normal, since I'm working on getting all of the achievements in both games.

Oh and I'm on the 360.

Try to hack the Armeture Repair Stations, those things can be real life-savers.

Well hey, I made it! lol Now I've got the Citadel invasion to worry about, including the double Saren fight, although I think it'll be easier than a brigade of Geth.

You don't even have to fight him the first time through if you have high enough paragon/renegade.

yeah just once with saren its important to be a good talker in mass effect its what make s the game

If you're an adept that fight will be a piece of cake. Just keep him in singularity, lifted, or thrown down.
