Well I was playing on Insanity for the achievement and suddenly noticed enemies had gotten a whole lot easier. Little did I know that my diffculty had beeen reset to casual, and with no saves to back me up, my chances to get the achievement now are ****ed.
Has anyone else had their difficulty reset? As now I have to start all the way from the god damn beginning.
Insanity to Casual reset??

This happened to me, but luckily I noticed that the difficulty was lower before I overwrote any of my saves. I'm thinking what caused it was when I was playing my other career on normal, I went to Illium which prompted for Disc 2. When I reloaded my insanity file, I was still using Disc 2 but the difficulty had been set back to normal. I mined a few planets then happened to check my game settings and noticed the problem. Reloaded an earlier save and I was back on insanity.
