Hi,
First I'm sorry if someone asked that already but I can't seem to find a search engine for the forum, which makes using the whole thing rather unwieldy.
Anyway, so just for the heck of it, I wanted to a create a sword for my Arcane Warriors, so technically I'd like to use the model form a greatwsword (the same model as ageless) but to be held on one hand.
Of course the toolset seems to be adamant in not offering any easy way to do anything and I really have some difficulties in understanding how to change the whole 2DA thing, which I understand would be the right way to do it.
So would anyone know of a clear and easy to follow tutorial to do this? Or just a hint or two as to where to start?
Thanks a lot

IIRC there is a mod over at DA Nexus that makes greatswords 1 handed (and allows you to dual wield them).

Never mind I found it on my own, I just followed this tutorial:
http://social.bioware.com/11689/blog/
I kept the same texture (could not come with anything I liked), and used the longsword.gda but with the design I wanted. Sure it does the same raw damage as a longsword, but it was more of a style issue, so it's fine by me.Now I just need to find how to add effects without adding runes and an invisible shield (I have several ideas for this one).
