So, uhh... where the search feature? I've looked everywhere and can't find it. I even searched for it... oh wait, I didn't. But I would have if I could find the search tool.

The hidden link is here:
http://social.biowar.../forum/1/search
Best I can tell, it was breaking things to have it active so they pulled it. I've been a huge fan of BioWare for a handful of forums over a decade or more and this missing function is about as poor as I have seen. Clearly EA/BW need to work on sites and coordination of accounts and online world especially with an MMORPG on the horizon.

lol, no forum search feature. lololol.
I guess they like answering the same questions over and over and over and over and over and over and...
Everything EA touches, they turn to ****.

There was a search feature. Losing it has nothing to do with EA. It was taken away when ME2 hit the site, to reduce the load. We hope to get it back.

Running a forum without a search feature is pretty lame. Gimp you very much.

EA still turns everything they touch to s***. I am a huge ME fan, ME2 was great but could have been better, and don't even get me started on Mercs 2 they butchered that game. It had more glitches than it did missions. Great game but EA gave Pandemic a short time frame to make it so it had issues, heck in Nov. 2009 they dissolved the company guaranteeing there wont be a Mercs 3. It was EA's fault Mercs 2 didnt do so good in the first place and they fire the people at Pandemic, WTF.
The only positive I can think of with EA owning Bioware is that they now have a bigger budget, but even that might not be true.

@CodeMyster: Bashing of EA and BioWare is not allowed here; you can take that to RPG Codex. If you have a problem you'd like help with, ask away (preferably in a mature and professional tone).

I gotta agree, having no visble link to a the search funtion is pretty lame. And the excuse of reducing the load when ME2 was up is even more lame.
Two thumbs down.

the link that Demetrious gave is working wonderfully. It's a workaround sure, but it works.

i love bioware i just think, as well as many other people, that EA doesnt care about the gamers just how much money they can get from us and they are destroying the gaming industry with hostile takeovers.

Shouldn't have to, and it stopped working for me a week ago anyway. I think whoever runs the forum caught on and shut it down.

Karstedt, actually whoever runs the forum unhid it about a week ago. Its the dialog box with the magnifying glass at the top of the forum listing. It is still going to the same page as was linked in this thread, so if you're having a problem with it it might be your browser or cookies or something.
