I'm trying to create a chest to give myself some customized items. I've been trying to add them to the party camp as its the most readily accessible area (though I really don't care where it goes.) I've taken the following steps and nothing seems to be happening:
Created a module that extends the single player campaign.
Module is set to 'Core Game Resources'
Created said items, saved, checked them in, exported them without dependencies.
Created chest, saved, checked in, export with items in inventory.
Checked out party's camp area. (camp100ar_camp_plains)
Placed chest in camp, saved, checked area in, exported without dependencies.
Generated Module XML
Generated Manifest XML
On game start ensured that my module is in downloaded content and checked.
Went to the party's camp, and it's not there.
Without creating a script to place the chest (or anything else for that matter) in an existing area, what steps do I need to take other than what I've done? It seems to not be reading the module files at all. I've tried a few other things like merely moving an object in an existing area and the object just stays put. What am I doing wrong?
Creating placeables in existing areas - changes not being seen by the game?

Im not sure about the problem. Dont you set your module to be inherited by single player. And as well set extended module to single player? Otherwise no sure seems about all i would do.
I would do it with scripts now too ,its easy with templates

If you go to 'Other Campaigns' in the main menu, and your module shows up in that list, UR DOIN IT WRONG! The game thinks your module is a stand-alone one. You shouldn't have "Core Game Resources" set anywhere. I think the only option you need to set, from the default values, is Extended Module to 'Single Player' and make sure that Script is set to '(None)', otherwise the game will duplicate DLC item content over and over again.
