Does anyone know where the key to the Cabinet in the Lothering Chantry is? I have tried to pickpocket the Revered Mother. I believe I got it open in a previous playthrough but I cannot remember how or where I got the key.

Ask the Head Templar for it. You have to tell him you are a Grey Warden. No coercion is necessary to get it.
