The absurdity of this whole "issue" is laughable. Who the f**k cares? It's artistic license. Don't play it if all you wanted was a pixelated side boob.
NERDS!
Lots of thought and insight into the OP's argument went into this man's post.
After reading this thread, I completely agree with the OP.
It seems that violence today is glorified, and sex is taboo. We can see people melting alive in the collector ship, blow the limbs off of mechs, set fire to people and aliens.
But sex? Nooooooo, that's going too far. Kinda like the Janet Jackson Super Bowl thing. Cmon.
Everyone in here just saying "U GUYZ R NARDS GHO WETCH PRON" are completely missing the argument. I feel like I've been a fan of a political activist only to find out that they cow towed to some senator for extra money. THAT'S what this is about. THAT'S what it feels like.
It's a game. If you feel "betrayed" in any way, you got issues man.

Yes, because not complaining that we are being treated like children would be the right and "mature" thing to do.

It's a betrayal because it's a step backwards, a caving in to the morons who think sex/nudity is bad and should be covered up.

Yes, because not complaining that we are being treated like children would be the right and "mature" thing to do.
Then every game should have sex scenes! Because we are no children!

This is a very cinematic game with many mature themes. I'm not talking about putting nudity in Spyro, you clearly don't understand that.

Could we have some proof as to if it's really the case? We don't know their reasons, so you guys should really stop making baseless assumptions. Anyway, controvery = cash, and I really doubt if any way would procure more money, it would be the one taken.

Yeah, and? mature themes = sex scenes too? Come on, the sex happens, we just don't see it. There's tons of games with mature themes and no sex. Anyway, in ME1, it was like 10 sec...

The sex happens but it should still be presented in a decent, adult manner similar to ME1. I never even cared to try to get the sex scenes in ME2 or ME1 because they weren't important to me. However, the fact that people get so up in arms about a bodily organ or touching, enough to scare away artists from representing this in a decent fashion, does ****** me off.

If Mr. Woo thinks that equates to softcore porn he being hideously flippant and condesending about what his own company achieved with the original game.

This would not be an issue if the scenes fade out and fade into cuddling under the sheets. It would imply the sex and it would still show the emotional aftershocks without the absurdity currently in the unmodded versions of DA and ME2.

Take this thread for instance

Instead of giving me a decent reply, bioware decided to close the thread. Hopefully I struck a chord but who knows.
