So I installed tha game on a seperate partition of my computer then upgraded my operating system (on my primary partition) to windows seven.  I saved what was in the my games folder from the vista system and put it back when I upgraded.  Seem to be missing a file and it asks me to reinstall ok not a problem but not sure how I can keep my saved games.  Didn't do things completly correctly when I made my mage but would like to finish the game at least once before rerolling him . 

So how can I keep my saved games but reinstall the game?  Thanks!

You need to preserve the My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age folder when reinstalling/upgrading OS/moving computers. Saves are in the Characters subdirectory.

I recently did a un and reinstall of DA using the DA uninstaller and when uninstalling it will ask you if you want to keep your settings and saved games click yes or at least that`s what i did finished uninstalling and reboot computer just to be safe I then installed DA to a different hard drive,started game and game saves were there although if you have any dlc`s you will have to reinstall them before loading any saved games
