Speaking of Miranda's posterior.. you know they made every single attempt at pointing it out as often as possible.
Oh, but there's actually a perfectly reasonable explanation for that particular scene.

Think about it.

Some people really need to look up the word "obsession". The same idiots keep throwing that word around like they've completed an entire psychoanalysis on the subject they are so quick to label, but in reality, they're just making empty assumptions based on one comment.

I'm an admirer of the female form as much as any straight guy, but Miranda was just overkill. There's no subtlety to her and she just screams "Stripperific".

Yvonne Strahovsky is a lovely lady, no doubt, but I never could take Miranda seriously in those trashy outfits. There is no practical reason for her to wear those skin-tight catsuits, and her six-inch heels just make her even more ridiculous. It certainly didn't help that the camera angles always had her ass taking up the entire screen in a conversation.

lol @ Miranda being overkill.
Have you seen Ivy from SoulCalibur IV? There are far worse examples of games sexualizing females. At least Ivy's proportions were realistic in the first SoulCalibur. Miranda barely holds a candle to her in terms of "skimpiness" or being "stripperiffic."
Ivy went from this:
To this:

Compare to Miranda:

You could say that Miranda's outfit, in comparison to others in Mass Effect, accentuates her form much more, but compared to other games, not so much.

Your holding miranda to double standards
Here's a list of characters we've seen in skin tight outfits!
Jacob (also had ass shots)
Thane
Kasumi
Tali's lower half!
Shepards casual t shirt outfit!
Dr Chawkwas!
Samara
Mornith
Every asari ever
Mordin loves the super skinny pants
Kolyat
Wrex! (is default merc outfit is super sexy for his figure)
Ashely
Kadian
many more....
Just because miranda has some bigger area's and has awesome hair dosen't mean she dresses ****tier than anyone else in the universe

Very true, compared to Ivy she may as well be wearing a parka. But that's pretty much true of all female characters in games. It just feels way off in a game like Mass Effect though. Accentuating her features is one thing, but one can do that without having an outfit so tight a spelunking team is necessary to get it off.
Edit: @Shadow Broker: Jacob's shots were annoying aswell, but even when those other characters wore tighter outfits, none of them looked painted on like Miranda's.

It looks like somebody stuffed water balloons in there. I feel like they're about to pop at any second. I want to walk around holding a towel out under her. While demanding to know who put the water balloons in her pants.

Fair enough. I was thinking about how I'd go about designing another outfit for Miranda that is form fitting and looks cool without overdoing it. I figured something sort of like the armor for Terran Ghost's in StarCraft.

It's the ass shots and such. The focus on it. And the fact that her suit is so meticulously sculpted to her ass. Nobody else's suit has an ass crack, I've noticed.

It's not so much that she wears a tight outfit, I think. You can accuse every character in the game of that.

ME1 light armors do, and jacob has an equal amount of ass time(as well as crack) just most don't notice due him being a man
Mirandas loyalty outfit also makes the crack much more subtle

Oh, stow it, nancy.
Nobody cares that you don't like it. Don't like it? Don't read it/look at it. No one forced you to come to this thread and respond. You do what you want, and leave everyone else to do what they want. Did he say, "Gambit One, do you think it's okay for me to like pixelated people?" As far as I can tell...no. Then he didn't want your narrow-minded opinion of what he likes. And if you think I'm being too harsh on you, try to remember your first post, "hurr hurr what are you 12? hurr hurr" I'm sure you'll re-read it and say, "I never went 'hurr hurr'." But that's okay, I figured you were probably too busy on your high horse to type them in, so I took it upon myself. Maybe YOU should be the one who grows up a little, hm?
