I find adrenaline so powerful in ME2; its like serious crowd control because it seems to give one such an advantage and reduces the potential for panic with oncoming mobs.

One could argue it takes any challenge out of being a soldier because i feel it is the difference between dying miserbly and winning looking like the greatest commando in the galaxy!
It is fun though hitting adrnaline and pumping incediary rounds into some Krogan boss's face. Oh yeah you gonna charge? Go right ahead :-)

Mordin keeps saying "krogan charging, problematic". Not any more.

Soldier: Adrenaline spam
The fun in higher difficulties settings is knowing which weapon to use with which ammo power while not running out of ammo. The rest is: Adrenaline everytime is up and when there's a pulled enemy or unshielded near a ledge, concussive.
Not my prefered class but I have to admit that it can be pretty funny

Soldier has always been the easiest class since Mass Effect 1.

Spamming Cloak makes Iniltrator ridiculously easy too.

Same for Sentinel and Tech armor.

But I agree that Soldier is even more powerful than those two.

I don't see it as a problem, the Soldier is supposed to just shoot crap, not use abilities.

IMO Infiltrator cloak spamming is more powerful.

I have to agree. I recently made my sniping Infiltrator to an assault-type one and it makes the game much more fun ^_^

Assault infiltrator is the easiest class I've played on Insanity, being able to fully disappear every 4(ish?) seconds... yeah, Tech Armor can't really compete with that.

On insanty AR does not seem to last as long even max out. the cooldown is kind of short but its not a fail safe. I seen many people Vid of them getting over whelmed and trying to use AR does seem to help them much IMO AR is balance for Insanty you can't go all out just because you use AR you still need to take cover and take out any mobs closing in on you.

To be honest, Soldier class in ME1 was far easier. I remember my Shock Trooper Soldier jaunting along in the old days - he ended up smacking a Thresher Maw to death with his rifle butt after wittling it down at range. Immunity was absurd.

That is Soldiers. It's all about the ammo and shooting, running from cover-to-cover and filling the enemy with.. it's not lead, I know, but whatever.

Adrenaline being their bread and butter doesn't phase me in the least.

I don't know if it's true, but it's make sense.

About the topic. It's true. Can't say it's the easiest, but with a Sharp aim and that Famas-from-the-future you will be taking any enemy in no time.

Once you get the revenant, it's pretty much game over with the soldier.

It has the largest +armor damage multiplier, as confirmed in the data thread.

This allows you to strip armor in a few shots, without using inferno ammo in favor of cryo... then frozen enemies... oh my.

While everyone knows I'm a large adept fan, after beating insanity with soldier now, I do gotta say that it pretty much just dominates the game.

Really though, I don't think it was from adrenaline soo much, more of it combined with the ammo skills.

Once you max out an ammo skill, the enemy type that is weak to it is pretty much fubar.

Mid/Endgame wise; soldiers and infiltrators are incredible powerful;

Infiltrator with Assasination Cloak +  Passive Rank 4+ Widow.... Even on insanity it's easy mode; you can wipe the collectors' platforms before they arrive and it's great against anything; Your only enemy is ammo.

Soldier is a more general class (it's as good at distance as at CQC) Infiltrator wins at sniping but it's not as powerful at closer - mid ranges (Soldier + Revenant + AR upgrades). Both are funny but I still prefer my engineer/adept

Indeed, Adrenaline Rush is VERY powerful; to the point where no other power is ever worth using. Soldiers have always been easy, this is nothing new.

Guns and ammo are much more powerful than biotics. So the classes that have powers that help them use guns better are more powerful than the classes that rely on spell-like abilities. The "spells" are blocked (for the most part) by shields/armor/barriers, which is pretty much every enemy on insanity.
