Yeah, I wanted to keep Urz as a pet. Way more cool than the perpetually dying fish. I wouldn't want him as a squad member though. Just a pet. I was very disappointed when I realised I couldn't keep him!

If Urz ended up in your quarters either the hamster would eat her or the ship would kill her like it does your fish!

When Urz loses in a fight, you can find him in the Krogan med lab, thats what I heard anyways

It would be comical if you can have Urz rat out who brought the scale itch on to the Normandy.

"Urz will be staying in my quarters as a pet, and no Kelly, I don't want you going anywhere near him."

Urz would be awesome to have chilling around the normandy. I don't think he makes a good partner on the battlefield since a lot of enemies attack from places player can't go so you gotta take em out with ranged weapons... unless they give urz an ability to shoot lazer out of his eyes!

I refuse to buy ME3 if Urz is not made to be a gay romance option.

If Urz would be a squadmate:
Could he successfully...
...infiltrate the tubes and hack the door as a tech specialist?
...lead the second team and distraction team?
...escort the crew back?
... create the biotic bubble against the seeker swarms?

Oh man, I have fish, space hamster, the perfect krogan adoptee, and Urz. I really hope they all come back with me in ME3. Or at least that Urz is on Tuchanka where I left him.

Urz for a squadmate? No.
Having him on the Normandy as a pet? Yes. :3
Just keep him away from Kelly.

Just trying to turn this game into Dragon Age in space huh? DA:O had a dog like creature as a squad member
Dogs are companions in many recent rpgs. Fable and Fallout 3 (well, all three fallouts actually.)
actually 4 Fallout games (or more) have a dog companion:Fallout (dogmeat); Fallout 2 (the same dogmeat); Fallout 3 (another dogmeat); Fallout: New Vegas (Rex the Cyber Dog!!)

Having Urz would be pretty cool, I agree. If you have time, Bioware, maybe we can see him on Tuchanka again? (maybe even bring him onto the Normandy after).
Varren as LI: No thanks
though feeding and some sort of interaction would be pretty cool. Develop his personality too....
I don't think he'd work out too well as a squad member, sorry guys.
