does anyone have a weapon breakdown posted yet? trying to look up the buts wep combo. I'm really trying to decide between the geth pulse rifle/vindicator and the stock shotty/scimitar

I can't say I have a breakdown on hand, but I remember seeing numbers that put the pulse rifle actually really really really really low down on the damage.

Vindi was like 38 damage per bullet, pulse was like 3.7 damage, which seemed wrong to me but I've seen it multiple places now and having used both in game it feels about right.

*edit* Though that vindi amount might have been for the whole burst, but I don't think it was.

The Geth Pulse Rifle have 40 round clip and selfadjustable rpm and the reserv ammo is 480 (537 with extra ammo upgrade on the armor) combined with powers the Geth pulse rifle works pretty well.

Is that table correct? Because when I used the Geth Pulse Rifle, it certainly didn't feel like it did 1/3 the damage from the Avenger, especially against shields.

Maybe there's some kind of 'damage vs shields', 'damage vs armour', etc, atribute with each gun?

What's the best weapon to pick up on the collector's ship? From that table looks like the Widow Anti Material Rifle (Sniper rifle) might be the best one. The Vindicator Battle Rifle does more damage than the Revenant Machine Gun but has a lower payload. I am not a shotgun fan so it's between the sniper rifle and assault rifle. What are your thoughts?

I think they do. If you read the descriptions of the weapons they will say different things. I can't remember the exact wording, but the Mantis Sniper rifle will say good vs Armor and Shield, and the Widow will say good vs Armor and Barriers. 

So it would be reasonable that the damage applied to the various defenses scale differently with the various weapons, and that the list linked is only dmg vs health. The into states that the table is the weapon dmg before any bonuses are applied (such as +50% vs armor).
