Achievement points are progress indicators, not related to the Online Purchasiong points.

I am also having an issue. I have the points, I see them right there on my screen. But when i click to purchase either Return to Ostagar or Wardens keep it says
"Sorry, your request can not be completed at this time. Please try again later." This started over 24 hours ago and it still won't let me buy them

Achievement / progress Points have no exchange value. You cannot acquire EA / Bioware purchase points to buy DLC with, in any manner other than purchasing them using legal tender.

I am not talking about Achievement / Progress Points. I am refering to the Bioware points to purchase the downloadable content.
I went into my game, went to downloadable content, clicked "Add Points" it took me to a website- http://social.bioware.com...ect. , i put my password in, it took me to the Buy Points page, i added points. Went back into my game and clicked the refresh button and there are my points. All 960 that i need to buy Wardens Keep and Return to Ostagar. I click on Wardens keep, and it says
Sorry your process can not be completed at this time. Please try again.
It says the same for when i click Return to Ostagar
This has been on going for 4 days now.

Try deleting the My Documents\\Bioware\\Dragon Age\\Settings\\Offers.xml file. You will need to wait a bit for the game to redownload the offers before Warden's Keep and RtO become available to purchase again, but regenerating the offers has been known to fix this problem.

Try deleting the manifest.xml file in the same directory.
Also make sure the Dragon Age Origins Content Update service is running. Try manually starting it before you start the game:
1.) Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type in services.msc and press ENTER
2.) Locate the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in the list of services.
3.) Right click it and select START
If all else fails try installing the offer files manually. There are links and instructions in Section 2 of the DLC In-Game Errors FAQ.

Okay so i followed your instructions on the link you gave me.
I went back into my game and there was nothing in the Available Content section
but:
Collectors edition
Return to Ostagar
Stone prisoner
Wardens keep
were all in the download section, instead of in the Downloadable content. And it is letting me download, and still showing all of my bioware points still being there. Did i just get the Downloadable content without using my bioware points? Because i don't have the collectors edition and Stone Prisoner is already downloaded. I am so confused

It should only download automatically what's on your http://social.biowar...ntitlements.php page. Anything that is on that page will download. (And once you successfully buy something it will show up on that page.)
Some content comes free with the game purchase (as long as you bought it new), after you redeem your promo codes. If you have the Collector's or Digital Deluxe editon (which I'm guessing since since the CE items are downloading) you should get: Collector's Edition, Stone Prisoner, Blood Dragon Armor. Digital Deluxe also includes Warden's Keep.
If Return to Ostagar is downloading I would guess that one of your purchase attempts went through. You can see the purchase history at the points website.

Well I finally figured all that out with the points and such it was a conflict. Any idea if there are any other hidden quests anywhere? for companions or companions I am missing? Or shoudl I go to a spoiler forum? I have sten, shale, the dog, morrigan, wynn, leilanna, ogrehn, and zevran. I just foudn the shale quest. Pretty cool. I thought the add on awakenings was a littl;e short for the money. OH YEAH and I LOVE Dthe April Fools day downloaded content.
