Why gay Shepard would be a terrible idea for ME3

But think about this.
Shepard has been straight so far. He's romanced hot chicks, hot alien chicks, and would probably romance EDI given the chance.
How the **** can you justify him turning gay all of a sudden in ME3?
What, did the Lazarus project mess up a wire or two? How does this space pimp go from all that to liking dudes?
BS. Sure, you may say your male Shepard didn't do any of those romances because he's gay, and you're role playing him that way. Fine do what you want, but it makes NO damn sense whatsoever to have gay options in ME3.
I would be pissed to have my space pimp talk to a male crew mate in ME3 and see some sort of gay flirt option on there. What the hell happened? Why is he bicurious all of a sudden? Why is that option there? Is he thinking about Steve as a possible interest? My Shepard????
No. Keep it in your heads and out of this game.

Umm, who said he romanced the chicks? What if mine didn't?
Did you read my post or just randomly type words in a box?

Maybe so, but that doesn't make my point any less valid, does it?

Second, i agree, do it in the next series if you must, but please do not allow you to flirt with other guys in ME3!

Oh for the love of...
There are Paragon options, better lock them out or your Renegade bad-ass might get soft on us!
Choices you don't choose, didn't happen.

An option is just that, an option. Your Shep doesnt become what you wat til you choose the option you want. In other words, it has no effect on YOU and how YOU PLAY YOUR TOON.

Good job. No defense what's so ever. All your defense is, "I don't like gays. They don't deserve anything but I don't think they should." You're a ****ing retard and a homophobe. I'm not gay but that's just plain disrespect. Learn your place and gtfo the forums, ****.

Maybe Person X played the game differently than you?
For person x he may be gay (never shagged birds, neither in ME1 nor ME2 for example), while for person y he might be of another disposition.
Thus, his disposition would be canon/true (this is how Shep is), but the canon would be different for different people.
That's what's so great with these games, there are many different ways to play your character.

Shepard has been straight so far. <snip—for obvious reasons>
How do you know? Anyone with any sensitivity (leaves you out: homos, really?) would have picked up on the cinematics interactions between Kaiden and Shepard throughout ME1. This is particularly reinforced by his overreaction to Shepard apparantly joining Cerebus in ME2.
Male homosexuality has been addressed by every major scifi novel and film set in the 21st century and beyond. If one includes sex at all it is disingenuous to exclude homosexuality.
Those who would shove their heads in the sand are free to do so (they obviously have little else to do with them) but do not try to force everyone eles's in with you. Since homosexuals serve openly in the military of every new world country (with the US soon to follow) your point has little stature.
